i see this was made in april, as a seasonal city worker I know that we spend most of april and may cleaning up the streets, and fenclines. SO this spring don't worry! we will have it all the winter garbage cleaned up by mid may!

Detroit, Michigan is just as bad - the entire city is trashy, dirty, smelly, and one big giant slum. I can't stand people who litter. What's the big deal to walk a few feet to a trash can and dispose of it where it belongs? That's what trash cans are for! People who litter have no respect for the earth or for anyone else. They are very unrefined people. Quit littering!

New York has the same issue... though the garbage is tossed on the ground no matter the season. Our monthly clean sweeps help, but NYC is still pretty grimy. Despite, I love my home.
Good one Grimace! Well done and well said. It seems like people only care if garbage ends up on their lawn. If that same garbage is on the curb infront of that same lawn, it is left there. I see this all the time. Sad. City pride, not city wide.

If you think that's a litter problem you should see London (sadly). However, we do at least have a weekly collection from our front door (even in apartment blocks) for recycling, in fact in many parts of the city you will be fined up to £1000 for putting recyclables in the trash.

Do you know if Edmonton has a "Cleanup your city Day" or anything like that.. Grimace I really feel that this was your best work.. And I kow that its the reall issues that are important to you.. wow I didnt know so many people litter so much in Edmonton...I live in Calgary and if you havent been there, its so much cleaner! you go downtown its pretty clean and we have big garbage recycling garbage bins to recycle our stuff...but then that comes with high taxes...I guess it depends on how much edmontonians are willing to pay, if not stop littering at all, well Calgary is getting pretty big too so I wont be surprised if it becomes a litter city too but good work!
i think part of the problem with big cities like toronto is that people assume because its so big that there are city workers walking around just waiting to pick up their trash and clean it...its sad...ignorance is ruining the planet

Great Video, my town here in Florida has a great recycling program and most people would rather just throw their trash away... it's frustrating!
