But the loss of internal body heat when you seriously need it (I'm not talking sledging with your friends, I'm talking live or die moments), by completely emptying your bladder, just to protect a few fingers and toes is not worth it.
@FA22raptero Clearly not true....any volume of pee that is within your bladder is retaining a conciderable amount of heat, and when you let it out you lose all of that heat (pee is warm, yes?). Any outdoor survival expert will tell you that peeing is not the best idea if you ever, for example, find yourself caught in a blizzard in the arctic.
