  • Great memories of when i was 10 years old..

  • great song always will be ..come to canberra again soon plz, huggs.

  • Sherbet's second single, again produced by Pat Aulton. By the way, who's the MC?

  • This is a Classic Tune!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • STILL LOVE YOUR MUSIC

  • unique group!

  • A summer AM Radio staple of 1971.

  • Rick Springfield's "Speak to the Sky", same time and place, same style Same producer? Must have been a popular style of music around then, kinda cool and quaint and I imagine it mixed in well with the acoustic pop of Maggie May, It Don't Come Easy etc..pretty nicely. I was to young and didn't get into music until Suzi Quatro and Slade, glam. This era seems like a world of difference to that just a couple of years later

  • @mistersmith6000 Slade...now thats a memory...good comment....that dude Chapman was behind Suzi Q and others...so manufactured pop and rock was what it was all about and nothing much has changed...I always question if the actual 'acts' write their own material...very doubtful even if their name says so...

  • Just a shame its pre recorded and not live,,but whatta classic,,Pete

  • omg such a cutie he was...

    love u forever Darryl!

  • Great Song and great memories from an era where the songs were great!

    Thanks for sharing it. :)

  • Thanks for sharing this ... used to like this group in the 70's in Australia ... " a few" years have gone by since then, and I now live in Canada. Thanks for the memories.

  • Ahhh!! Memories!!

  • Great early hit from this great Aussie group. I have it on a greatest hits album from them.

  • Thanks for bringing back some many happy memories.Thumbs up to you frozenfish.

  • Bruce Worrall, on tuba, teaches our 14 year old son bass and acoustic now! A very accomplished musician. He was also in the original Jesus Christ Superstar. Played guitar with my Dad on stage recently too, Dad on bass. Go Bruce! :)

  • Was this one of their first songs? Gotta love them introduced as The Sherbert. I agree that Daryl looks a bit uncomfortable and embarressed

  • One of the first songs i listened to back in the 70's.First time i have seen a clip for it,thanks for posting it frozenfish91.

  • THANks for great video:)

  • TELL SATAN HES A LIAR! FREE THE PEOPLE! the end is nigh. TELL EVERYONE NOT TO TAKE THE MICROCHIP(mark of the beast). Repent, the kingdom of heaven is at hand!

  • wot a high voice

  • Poor Daryl looks a little awkward and embarrassed. What a difference a couple of years, a mike stand and a satin jacket make!

This is one of my favourite songs of the 70s, and I've waited ages for some kind soul to post it. Thank you so much, frozenfish91!

  • Catchy arrangement, tune and enigmatic lyrics make this a fave. Beautiful in simplicity.

  • Wow, thanks for posting this gem!!!!!
