@godpo6 No, I actually have a white EDGE. It's the outdated version because it practically gapes your DS cartridge slot. I found it a pain because it became hard for me to make my DS read original cards because the slot is a little wider now so I have to squeeze them in a little.

@goloet Do you mean Dealextreme? If so, yeah, DX got in trouble for having the flashcarts on their site. They had to take them off. Many other Chinese/Hong Kong wholeseller websites still have flashcarts up though. Will have to search around.

@Dichromed There is only one different version of the EDGE, which is the iEDGE. Which is compatible with the DSi. And yes, every EDGE card has the cheat code engine.

@EliaForce1984ita Both the EDGE and iEDGE can support 32 GB cards. Unless you're planning of buying a DSi, you can stick with a normal EDGE. iEDGE just includes a bootstrap updater to combat any Nintendo firmware update on the DSi.

on an edge u can download music, and when u download games, some of them alrdy come wif cheats. but with r4 u cant download music and to get cheats for any game is a pain.

Fantastic review. My personal experience from DealXtreme is that things take at least 4 weeks to arrive, and if they don't arrive at all you don't get any answers to emails so you'd never get your money back. A quick Google shows so many bad reviews!

I'd personally use NDS-Gear simply because they'd actually answer your e-mails even if you haven't bought anything yet! Confidence yes please.

nope, you need a slot 2 flash card. search for supercard lite, but if you still want to play nds roms along with gba, also get a passkey or a slot 1 card also

Buy an EDGE. You can't be to careful when buying an R4. TONSSS of clones out there. There is, as of now, no clones of EDGE. So EDGE might be your best bet for a legit card.

And just buy from any website that has good feedback. Dealextreme is legit, consolesource is legit.
