@bartibv Dude please speak in English or Spanish so that I can propperly understand what you said and not have any bad thoughts about that, ok? Pa la proxima responde bien de todas maneras la tuya por si acaso oites?
@bartibv Who told you I-m not a vibraphonist? I got a degree on Percussion and I've played vibes for about 5 years, what have u done? Who are you anyway?
@iandrum1 so google translator is weak cause i didn't told that ;) whatever i play vibraphone for 9 years and....wait this is not place for this kind of discussion.... goodbye ;) ciota...
I haven't heard this song in ages. It was on a disk of various percussion tunes. Thanks for posting, man, this was good despite what some others here have oddly posted.
@aceintuna The vibraphone typically has a motor that spins disks inside the resonance tubes. They dampen the sound off and on like that. It's a nice effect in the song, eh?
You have a great technique and you use it well but I don't like your touch. You don't have to rise your mallets as high as you do to make it sound, particularly with that kind of music.
And it looks like you're doing a mechanical stop between each notes at the first and third parts. You're right to play them freely but don't make too much.
Pay attention about your tempo in the middle section ; you're accelerating.
Finally, i'm french so please excuse me if my english was a bit wrong... ^^
try to use less arm and more wrist. Practise scales, try to keep your left hand at the black notes as much as possible with the scales. Than your technique will be better and the sound also. The rest is all timing. Keep it in your head constantly.
Die Tonleiter f h d f g h d f g zum g-as f c, g-as f c, g-as f h.
total nice! find' ich echt klasse! super fahrstuhlmusik!

what's wrong with the stevens grip? I played it with stevens to, I guess it's harder than burton's grip! he does misses a lot of notes...

Why is there such a tremolo ? is there an Fx ? or is it due to the resonators ?
