  • why would they let him wear his make up?

  • @WhyKeepPiranhas they address that in episode 6

  • @RjEatsDogs Fuck off then n watch his

  • "Hyyyyy" - OMG epic xD

  • I like this pilot episode a lot better his real hair is great and his mannerisms are just superb bravo!

  • May I add something for those who don't like this particular episode I will say this is not his best he gets better and better so don't give up after the first episode personally I think it takes three to get addicted so keep watching also he did redo this episode and it turned out a lot better

  • This has a lot of potential and he has played some parts of the joker character really well, however he needs to work on the joker laugh

  • Sucks

  • @Flamersheep andanimated series

  • "why are you here" ... "Im here because this place has the most interesting people rather than the sheep outside the so called "sane people" living in cubicles and doing the same boring job every day for crappy pay and a false sense of normality"

  • @Flamersheep And Animation

  • lol this vs ciscoreos joker...no contest this sucks

  • 67 gay men didn't like the pilot.

  • I've been watching your clips for about 2 hrs now. You really nailed the "feel" of Joker from The Dark Knight. Excellent writing, funny & dark without getting juvenile or corny.

Also love the way all the episodes connect into a cohesive story line.

You nailed it in BRB, I was mentally criticizing you for having Joker in "street clothes", then the joke is on me when I realize it's a break-out episode.

Will recommend your vids to every Batfan I know. Great job.

  • this was really good

  • this is literally the 27th time I've watched this episode. I've watched this series about 6 times. It is by far the best YouTube series EVER! The acting is brilliant, the script is amazing, the overall story is fantastic, and Scott McClure is my favorite Joker. (well, live action. My favorite Joker is definitely Mark Hamill) THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS SERIES!!!!

  • I have to say you played the joker reallyyy good in this one. I love ya and all but in the videos after this it didnt feel as realistic:P The wig is too curly and less wet..i liked it better when the settings were dark casting shadows like in the movie..and you did hands/ licking lips/ voice alot better in this one..but idk this is just my opinion. The flaws dont stop me from watching the series, because after all its still good. Just not as good as the first video. lol

  • @ItzaDreamm14

In this episode, it was Scott's real hair. He uses a wig in the episodes after this, that's why it looks so curly.

  • @ItzaDreamm14 I feel he did the hand thing a little too much, the licking lips way too much, and the voice was even higher than the rest of the episodes. The reason I love this first episode so much is because of how beautifully written the script is. I feel this is his weakest performance in the entire series but that's not saying much since it's still fantastic. He definitely stepped up the acting after this. And the makeup is way better after this. You can see the fake scars coming off here.

  • good, seems alittle like hes trying.

impressions made,he is joker.but jokers the type to pull you into his game.this guy.....meh,ive seen better.but you pulled off the look.give you props for that

  • @JacklyneB No no... this is just the beginning. Watch the whole series and it will change your opinion completely. Oh man will it change it completely.

  • Fan Made?

  • At first I thought Joker was OOC... then I realized that he himself was acting sad intentionally in a manner like Hunter S Thompson.

  • i kinda like this one more that the actual "therapy begins". this performance is more raw, and there's just more madness to the Joker, like he's now in a situation he can't really control

  • Initially, I thought Mr. J said 'You can undress me...'

  • For some strange reason I feel like I want to hug him,

  • 67 people need therapy sessions

  • "Sorry Puddin...." lol

  • Maybe I understend nothing in acting, but that Joker is VERY COOOOOL!!!! And that last phrase "I'm here bacause I want to be here!" just SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ooo, he's scariest in this one. The rest of them he's just sweet :P

  • This is steven hyde at his best

  • Why does everyone insist on worshiping Heath Ledger's Joker? Mark Hamill was fifty times better and is a lot more fun to watch. This Joker is seething and dangerous but it lacks any of the levity that keeps the Joker unpredictable.

This Joker blows shit up and throws people out windows. The real Joker uses nude photos of a man's daughter just after he's paralyzed her to drive him insane while does a song and dance. Then hits Batman with a fucking pie to the face. Why so serious, Mr. Ledger?

  • @jmerridew124 you also forget that he walks around in a nurse's dress and wig while talking to a very angry , half burnt harvey dent convincing him to kill people while wearing an " i believe in harvey dent " badge. and dresses up a corpse in clown makeup and a batman suit with a card pinned to it saying " will the real batman please stand up ? " and let's not forget the " magic trick ". heath's joker was just as unpredictable and twistedly humourous as any other interpretation should be.

  • @shadowprince101 Alright, you have a solid point. And he did that after he tied him to a chair and made him listen to her last five minutes on earth. I think the major disconnect between the two is their mannerisms. Heath Ledger was plodding around in a manner that made him look almost sickly. It was threatening in the way you avoid something rabid, and it fits impeccably. I admire Mark Hamill's Joker because he'll walk into a room with his chest puffed out to put on a big horrid murderous show.

  • @jmerridew124 and i love that about hamill's joker too. but ledger's was great in its own right. he had elements of many different jokers but was also something fresh and new at the same time. a more " modern " take on the character. which is why many people love his version , including people that are new to batman.

  • @shadowprince101 It was a dark, quiet, seething Joker that just gave off the impression of a twisted mind and a dangerous temperament. It's a little tried and true, but it's a great way to get the masses to appreciate the greatest villain of all time. I'm not questioning Ledger's phenomenal Joker, you convinced me he's well worth the while. However Hamill will forever hold a soft spot in my heart.

  • He's a bit like an insane psychopathic child...

  • I actually like this 'pilot episode' a lot more than the newer version ^^;

  • While I wait for season 2, I'm going to re-watch season 1. :D

  • i kind of want to be his friend...

  • I'm not even comparing this Joker to Heath XD Heath was an amazing Joker, but comparing makes you hate the other version. I love this version!!! 8DDD

  • el es el mismo qe el de los demas episodios??

porq no ma le salio muy bn el papel de el guason

  • the makeup and hair got SOOOOOO much better :)

  • love how he says sorry puddin, XP

  • spent my whole christmas eve last year watching these, good times :')

  • Omg!!! Finally joker out of the movie!!! :D

  • Have to say this is one of the best series I've watched on youtube yet. this is my 2nd time watching the series

  • good fucking job kick ass

  • Damn! What an awesome portrayal of Heath Ledger's Joker.

  • Excellent portrayal of joker; his mannerisms, voice tone, head twitching and hand gestures are just like what ledger did in his last batman movie. Great work mate.

  • hahahahahh funy man XD

  • 1:21 is spot on :)

  • It's like Johnny Depp doing Al Pacino doing Charles Manson. I freakin like it!

  • The look is awesome but the voice fails.

  • "You have to wonder about the people who watch this." LOL, Joker, you're such a card! XD

  • i love heath's joker, as well as this guy's portrayal, but i wish nolan's movie would've made joker the way he is in the comics.

  • I've heard some people complain about Julian Bleach and they should have cast Terry Molloy. But when Terry Molloy first got the part he did not try to imitate Michael Wisher. He expanded the character and that's what NJulian Bleach has done. He's brought out Davros' batshit- crazy side.

  • I love both this version of the Joker and the one from 'The Dark Knight' (considering they are the same incarnation). I know people say the voice or the make up is a little off but Scott McClure is not trying to be a dead ringer for the Heath Ledger Mr J. He's taking that character and expanding it, building onto it. A bit like with the incarnations of Davros.

  • I actually like this Joker more than Heath's (RIP, we all miss you) only because of the voice. I don't think Joker should have as deep a voice as Heath had his. Joker should have a higher voice. Not a sqeeky girly voice but a higher voice. I love Scott's Joker.

  • I love this version most of all. His facial expressions are much more life like and it really brings out the Joker's his character. The inflections in his voice are so amazing as well. It makes it more hilarious.

  • I love this version most of all. His facial expressions are much more life like and it really brings out the Joker's his character.

  • Why the heck are there two versions of this?

  • @mikenike123454 This was literally the first episode they filmed, but in other videos the lighting conditions and Joker costume changed slightly; they later refilmed this episode to match the look of the others.

  • i like the other version of this episode better but still amazing idk maybe its cuz i saw the other one first...

  • Someone call Nolan! :) so we can finally get that movie where the Joker helps Batman with a super villian!

  • This is brilliance unleaded.

  • This looks so legit .

  • A lot of the manurisms, voice, and word phrases are NOT the Joker, from the comic books or movie. What are you doing?

Harley when she was interviewing the Joker never spoke out against him.

  • Ha ha! 57 people don't want to be in Arkham. :D

  • he need to live alone and practice for 1-2 month to enter the role like Ledger :)

  • I have to say i like this first part better than the other one. It's darker and this version seems more real. But still, LOVE the series. Purely amazing (:

  • dios este tipo es el joker ledger esta vivo

  • his cheek is falling off tut lol :)

  • The joker should have told that woman to shut her mouth

  • 55 People are way too serious.

  • @TheChocolatePumpkin Lets put a smile on there faces :)

  • @TheChocolatePumpkin 66 for now. if there will be more. The Joker will ask them why they are so serious?...

  • he reminds me of what a mixture of johnny depp and daniel day lewis would do if they were the joker

  • Still love these videos ages since I last watched them. Glad that you kept the makeup, but I am curious, would they have let him wear it in real life?

  • his hair is straighter in this version of the pilot episode (cause this is the first pilot and he made a second pilot of this)

  • Hes got a brooklyn accent =P but this is great!

  • best acting EVER

  • "Sorry Puddin" Hahaha! The way he said it was so much better than the other version, I like this version better actually, its more dark.

  • 54 Batmen hated this... why so serious batsy?

  • @Bchayd01 I lol'd

  • I started enjoying these more when I stopped comparing him to Heath and started looking at it as this very good portrayal as the Joker.

  • @seventeencandles123 I never compared Scott to Heath. He is most definately his own Joker. I love it.

  • @seventeencandles123 same here

  • @seventeencandles123 but impossible not to compare him to heath. heath has re-invented a legandary villian in the most haunting way. the joker will be remembed as heaths joker forever. this impression is an embarrassment to heath ledger

  • @mekishiko1919 And you're watching it why?.. Stop wasting my time by commenting on something you don't even care about.

  • You can call me mister J.

  • Is this a different actor than Scott McClure?

  • @MuslimViking no the same.

  • i just finished the entire series. TRUST ME. This is the best thing I've EVER seen on youtube. If you're unsure, give it until part 3, you'll be hooked. A wonderful tribute to the source material and they should be included as an extra on the "batman 3" DVD.

  • ROFLMAO my fave parts of this 2:00 "theres a track?" *looks around for it*

  • this acting is horrible, the guys from Blinky 500 are much better at it, they seem like the real characters

  • Your subscription to awesome has been added.

  • Ah, I remember when I first watched this. Who knew these vids. would get so much bigger :P

  • Harley Quinn?

  • I'm sad the series is over.

  • @spagerbot well i wouldent say that.. the series is over ..for now if you go on the web site Scott/joker acknowledges the fact that there were bigger questions left unanswered so if he has the time he said he may continue it

  • why is there two versions of the first episode? and this one has like a different hair style then the other, like the other one is more curly

  • @inutaisho36 They remade this video because they wanted it to be better and have the new, more realistic makeup & hair that is used in the rest of the Joker Blogs' videos

  • @inutaisho36 He also tuned up his acting after this video

  • @inutaisho36 LOL

  • @cdm0014 whats so funny, i was just asking

  • @inutaisho36 i just thought it was funny u said the hair was more curly i thought the same thing lol

  • @cdm0014 lol i was like why do they have two versions on here? hah

  • Love the Joker makeup

  • we're getting off track.

    there's a track?

    LOL! pretty good joker!

  • ^-^ The Joker is on YouTube! I wanna see more than there is! (More vids after "Shotgun Wedding"!

  • i like the laugh in the beginning

  • i always wondered 'how does the joker's makeup stay on in prison? I mean, according to the Killing Joke its just acid marks, but in the dark knight its clearly not the case.

  • @DownWithLiquid Thats because Nolan is taking a realistic approach to the Joker. Pretty sure that should of been obvious.

  • @lagowns yeah but how the hell does his makeup stay on in arkham? i don't think they would let him carry a makeup kit around.

  • @DownWithLiquid Omg, are you actually complaining about his makeup? Ugh you troll. Can't you just appreciate his good acting, & get over the fact that you're obviously jealous because nobody watches your videos. Do you even have videos? Show your face if you're so much better then this guy.

  • @RoseRedStudios actually i was replying to someone else's comment replying to a comment i made. don't get me wrong, i think this guy does a great job of portraying the joker, and i was generalizing the entire persona of a heath ledger-esque joker. by the way, i'm not a troll.

  • @RoseRedStudios if anything, you're the troll. have you looked at my channel? you're the only person criticizing, i was just questioning.

  • @DownWithLiquid Yeah I did. Google videos? You're coolllllllll. & Like I said. He's more for the acting, not so much the reality.

  • Nice acting and costumes! The only issue I have with it is that he calls Harley "Puddin'" when he sould call her something like "Harls" or "Pooh" instead, because she calls him "Puddin'" later on.

  • hey you rly look like the joker! amazing!

  • dang it man, he is not trying to be heath! you all are idiots, this is legit.... this is a professional actor, this is not an impersonation.... he has his own take on the joker, furthering it from heath's... gosh you guys are so freaking retarded! the joker is NOT heath, heath is not the JOKER! the joker is more than heath, the joker encompasses so mch more than one interpretation.

  • @liveforever2012 Agreed but there's more to the character that lacks than the voice, like the superiorness of the joker this guy makes him more sympathic

  • this is fucking awesome.

  • Is this joker heath?

  • he kinda looks like heath ledger.. damn.

  • yayayayay!

  • This is so cool...

  • this is AWESOME!!!! you are awesome as the Joker! your so realistic and can actual act unlike most people lol :)

  • I don't know how many times I've watched this video... (and I don't mean to be creepy, it's just awesome like that.)

I don't know anything about his acting methods, lol, but He's just totally got the character, it's insanely great. I have problems trying to imagine him as HIM...

I don't mean to say anything about Ledger Joker (who was absolutely flawless and my favorite character EVER) But even I can look at that Joker and see hints of Heath Ledger. I just can't see this guy. It is seamless.

  • you guys sure have come a long way

  • I still love this. Where it all began. The actor who plays him just dissappears.

  • This guy should be in the next batman if they decide to bring joker back im doing a origin of joker miniseries on youtube but itll a darker take on the joker and why he is the way he is.

    Long Live The Joker Blogs!!!

  • nice job, it doesnt sound like heaths voice, kinda a hint of his adittude, but i like this i, hes not too happy, but hes darker and meaner, love it

  • Dude...this guy is BEAST!!!!

you're freakin awesome dude! Be the next Joker!!!

  • Dude, if they wanted to bring back the Joker character for the next batman movie, (and im saying Heath Ledger was awesome as the Joker) they should use this guy. he looks, sounds, and acts exactly like Heath Ledgers portrayal

  • "according to... society" that was so spot on. Only just found these through watching HARLEYMK69

  • So will she end up being Harley Quinn the Jokers Girlfriend?

  • Holy shit!...I don't know what to say. This is genius. This is written (or Improvised) so well that, it's an amazingly captivating take on who the Joker....really can be. That some has created a side of the Joker that I really didn't expect. This isn't some sloppy parody done by 5th graders. This is a true definition of creativity.

  • i doubt they would let joker have make up in the prison unless there selling it in the jail HA! HA! HA! HA!

  • I like how you kept with the story. Harley Quinzel being his therapist, Her calling him Mr. J. And great impression of Heath. I subbed :)

  • Meh, i disagree, i think this hair is too...idk but i like ot better in the newer ones

  • "Huhhh....,Hmm.... Hiiiii._."

    :L

  • The female voice sounds exactly like Mae Whitman.

  • wow, you look just like heath ledger. this is awesome dude. this is shit that they should but in the third batman if they recast the joker (which they should)

if you could get the voice a little deeper, chris nolan should cast you. you have the movements down perfect.

  • I've watched all of your videos and then discovered this pilot... it's just as great (and I'm really glad the illumination is better in the other videos).

But: I like the way Joker's hair is styled here better than in the other videos (because his curls are too "pronounced" later).

Nevertheless, that's only one tiny thing while the rest is simply perfect and amazing! Can't wait for the final parts!!! :D

  • 3:02

    "Cause I'm a hardass. Duh."

  • I think think Mark Hammil's joker is much better. This is good in its own right, just not as good.

  • @raventears666 only the voice thats all hamil has u loser

  • I can just imagine Harley giving a facepalm at the end. :)

  • WOW COOL!!!!!!!!!! :O!!!!!

  • i thought this was awesome but your trying to hard with the voice D: its a bit too high DX

  • I felt it was quite impressive.

Not bad at all. I would really say that he was trying to copy heath ledger, but he was adamant in performing consitantly with Ledger's portrayal of The Joker.

To say the least he was very damn close!

    Outstanding!

  • wow kinda looks like ledger but his voice uhh not the same he should try a lil higher a litle jesterish haha but good video/acting

  • The acting is pretty good!!

But he doesn't come off as Ledger's character, more as a depressed version of a character with more potential, which the joker shouldn't become when he is sent to Arkham.

And I don't think they would allow him to wear make-up in there.

But non the less, nice video

  • @ChicoPrikken

In another video it's explained that they letting him wear makeup cuz last time he stole babypowder for the white, shoepolish for the black, and bit off someones finger for the red.

  • watch the rest of the series and you will understand why he has his makeup.

  • @ChicoPrikken You need to watch more of the videos -- the Joker's more manic in further ones, and they actually explain: they didn't allow him to wear the makeup at first, and how he got the supplies.

  • @ChicoPrikken they show the reason why hes wearing makeup in later episodes

  • @ChicoPrikken they explain in a later episode why they let him wear make up, if you wanna know just ask me

  • @ChicoPrikken The Joker gets depressed in therapy because he gets bored

  • @ChicoPrikken you wouldn't be depressed in arkham?

  • @ChicoPrikken you have to watch the whole series ;)

  • @ChicoPrikken explained the makeup in later episode, and i dont know if he is supposed to come of as leadgers character

  • @ChicoPrikken watch the other videos before you comment

  • @ChicoPrikken watch the other videos before you comment and don't compare him to heath ledger and try to look at him as his own version

  • @ChicoPrikken I am pretty sure it was explained that they decided to humor him since he had resorted to biting off the fingers of guards and trading for baby powder. It was either in this or in the Mr. J series.

  • @ChicoPrikken Just watch the rest of the series and they'll explain a lot, as well as the make-up.

  • 'Phenomenal acting'?

I am sorry but this guy is not acting a character of Joker, he is acting Heath Ledger in the role of Joker and falls far off the mark.

  • UR AMAZING DUDE

  • i gotta say that as good as this is the one that he did later was better, i mean in this one he is straight up balls to the wall crazy, when he redid this video the joker was more in control, like not only could he see 3 moves ahead but he could see the whole game.
