it is now time to turn the table and teach the christian children to be as native americans......so human kindness, human greatness, humanity can be restored to this land !!
All need to pray and support Kevin Annett as he stands in the face of the evilness that created this system !!
long hair connects with mother earth. so it had to go.. its all ritual burning of the stuff prisson camps. the whole idea is to disconnect from the earth disconnect from the roots. if you are conected to the earth you are not easy to push around. this is not a war fought only in the america's this is a war fought over the whole world only europe was long long ago. . if you do not wanted to go catolic here they would kill you. dead or church.. mmm easy choice.
how can people be so cruel? these crimes are inexcusable!no one can say he did not know this, because the crimes against the native americans continue to this day!
I understand and i am a native Abenaki. I am also of African decent! we get it twice. I have had problems recently trying to travel in my car. assholes don't know the difference between driving and travelling.
Its a shame but this type of "program" is not Native American specific. Greed and deceit, mostly enforced and encouraged by whites unfortunately, has annihilated billions of peoples on this precious planet. It will all lead to our species demise and they don't see it. Peace be with all of us...
My first experience with this type of abuse of native americans was as an employee of a State hospital. It had formerly been a "boarding school" - many children died of neglect and abuse. One resident still remained. He was in his 60s then, and everyone called him "Chief" - no one knew or remembered his "real" name. He never spoke. He went on rambling walks in the woods, collecting seeds. The grounds are now filled with the native trees, shrubs and herbs he collected and planted.
Thank you for sharing this I know is close to your heart and the hearts and memories of all those that suffered at the hands of these boarding schools and still suffer to this day ...
I can second what the other friend said. It's breaking my heart what the native children had to endure. It's one of the cruelest things in life to be deprived of your culture, of your spirit and your pride and of your right to be yourself. They hurt and destroyed so many good hearts. There never ever will be any excuses.
This is heartbreaking to watch, and to think about what happened there for over 100 years. Everything in this "schooling system" is wrong - everything.
Thanks for making and aploading this intense and important video, Lonewolf.

The thing I will never forget about Chief is the look in his eyes. Haunted. Longing. Yet there was an infinite kindness there too.
