The violence within its own nation keeps its men on its toes... unfortunately, may Mexican military, due to low pay and lack of benefits, are often bribed to join the forces of the cartels.

If Mexico ever invaded the US, it wouldnt get any farther tjam kansas, colorado and Utah. You might have sympathetic Mexican citizenry in the southwest, but its all open space and mountains beyond the border states and the Mexican army would be cut down by airforce and mountain troops, plus they've never make it past the Mississippi without navy support, which would be impossible to achieve considering the US navy. Ultimately, no country could conquer the other in their present states.
In all speculation, if the US ever invaded Mexico, the terrain and population would be against them at the front and the home front would be in choas with all of the hispanics that live in the US now, many of them legal citizens. The US army would be bogged down in the deserts in the north, the jungles to the south and the mountains in central Mexico. Our military capabilities are not meant for international warfare, so as a military contestant we would certainly fail against USA, France, Germany, China, Turkey, Israel or anyone with guided bombs and a real Air Force. Many people here have no idea. It is true that the mexican army is not the best prepared for a military invasion or the most technologicaly advanced. For decades now it has been used in rescue missions and such, for natural disasters like hurricanes. Thats because Mexico doesn't have enemies. If Mexico ever invaded the US, it wouldnt get any farther tjam kansas, colorado and Utah. You might have sympathetic Mexican citizenry in the southwest, but its all open space and mountains beyond the border states and the Mexican army would be cut down by airforce and mountain troops, plus they've never make it past the Mississippi without navy support, which would be impossible to achieve considering the US navy. Ultimately, no country could conquer the other in their present states.

In all speculation, if the US ever invaded Mexico, the terrain and population would be against them at the front and the home front would be in choas with all of the hispanics that live in the US now, many of them legal citizens. The US army would be bogged down in the deserts in the north, the jungles to the south and the mountains in central Mexico. Logistically, its be a nightmare and wars are won by logistics, not by battles and partisan resistance just makes it a bigger problem.

Our military capabilities are not meant for international warfare, so as a military contestant we would certainly fail against USA, France, Germany, China, Turkey, Israel or anyone with guided bombs and a real Air Force. Many people here have no idea. It is true that the mexican army is not the best prepared for a military invasion or the most technologicaly advanced. For decades now it has been used in rescue missions and such, for natural disasters like hurricanes. Thats because Mexico doesn't have enemies. Nonetheless they're all very well trained motherfuckers, and it shows now, whenever there is a confrontation between the army and the drug cartels, the army kills or captures everyone with no casualties.
