any of you planning on visiting Madeira do not use the motorways you wont see anything. The motorways are for its normal everyday to day use. btw you can drink that water in the levada its basically pure. and so fresh its indescribable how refreshing it can be.

Its a subtropical island close to the coast of africa .The are many english speakers living in tha island. Beautiful place

homes are pretty expensive there, if you mean a detatched home with a garden. i could ask my friends a exact price for u. the hottest it gets in the summer is like 25 degrees c. and the lowest is like 16-18 ....its so great there!

Thank You for answering:) Yes, I ment a detatched or semi-detatched, not necessarily big, house with a garden. (like 1-2 bedroom(s)+ livingroom and bathroom, kitchen). It would be nice of You to ask your friends although I'm not buying - my parents plan to do it but not this year.

In summer, funchal sometimes (like once every 2 weeks in summer) reachs 40°C temeparature, the nights are kinda cold.

I know because i live in Madeira.
