I honestly wasn't a huge fan of Mickey until i saw the wrestler. Just watching the preview made me cry. ity was the combo of the bruce springstein song and Mickey's acting that got to me everytime.I hadn't seen a lot f his old stuff and the only thing I remembered him from was Sin City; he stole every scene he was in. as far as the Oscar thing, all the nominees that year were good but it came down to him and Sean. I wasn't mad that Sean won, but Mickey's performance touched me more.

@NikWongMusic Sean Penn won because of politics. Its a sympathy vote anyway and the one who really deserves to win never does, so they end up rewarding them later with an undeserved oscar. Thats what usually happens but every couple of years they decide to have a "black" or "gay" theme just to be politically correct which is sickening and they award those particular minorities in spades. But in a regular year I'd say its pretty much just politics and Hollywood bullshit as usual.
