he might want to freshen up on the correct plumbing terminology for the material hes installing. ( screw clamp,rubber thingy??) No hub or Fernco coupling would be a better choice cause going into an harware store and asking for a rubber thingy or screw clamp is going to open up a can of worms for the store professional and probably waste alot of time. Knowing the proper terms and names for the parts you want to buy will save you alot of time!
@TheTimmalone66 im not a plumber man, just an average person who found an easy way to join to pipes together. the proper way of coursewould be to find a fitting and pernmentally glue the 2 pipes together.
That is called an MJ coupling, not the newer Fernco which does not have the metal shield wrap.
