You look great at the walk and jog. I would work on trying to steady his head at the lope so that he doesn't bob it so much. If you did that he would be perfect!! Awesome job with him though you two look great!

Your walk and jog are great and he is a pretty horse. I would say that you are riding the brake to much and thus your horse looks over canted and he is off balance due to the excess head bobbing.
Encourage forward motion with him and you will have a far prettier lope that is consistent with what you are seeing now with wp.

no offense to anyone...but being a hunter girl...i don't agree with this. it isn't natural for a horse to move like that. what you call a lope...is not a lope...its like a weird walk! my mom used to show in arabian western classes...and 20years ago...you wouldn't place for the stuff you are doing..they expect for them to move freely...just not quickly...not do this skimpy like walk...walk fast...and weird..walk.canter...i don't agree with this...the western classes have gone totally wack.

Your walk and jog are great and he is a pretty horse. I would say that you are riding the brake to much and thus your horse looks over canted and he is off balance due to the excess head bobbing.
