Your pot stand idea is great! Have you thought about skipping the tea light and using the very bottom of a pop can as a primer pan? It would only need to be the last quarter inch to hold enough alcohol to prime and much lighter.
@redbeardthebunny yes, I consider it, but a tealight candle can be use for a lot of other pourpose. From tinder, to protect a knife from rust... And, why not, the alluminium cup of the candle can contain alcool.. :D
@Baldovino63 I've made dozens of them. A Good seal results in a steady jet under pressure. Ever make a penny stove? That penny is there to build up pressure but not too much thus creating an explosion. I'm not trying to disrespect your design. its a great attempt at innovation
try filling it with fiber glass, pour alcohol on the fiber glass,close it, light a match voer it and u will get flame jets out of the holes hot enough to proeprly cook food... that's how u do it!
Try to work something whit your hands, then upload a beautifull video with a beautifull song to show your work. (licensed! Dreamscape is a "random" choice from youtube)

@nathan61984 It's a work in progress, the candle it's for the cold times, it give a better preheat and vapourization, but i'm stil working on the stove, inserting in it some sort of "heat pipeline" to keep the heat from flames and drive it inside the alcohol.
At present I have one harm out of service, but I hope to finish this as soon as is possible.

Put a cotton ball into the tealight, and fill with alcohol. If you had two of those wire gizmos, maybe they could be used as a pot-stand.
