1) Bunta pretty much taught/trained/groomed Takumi to be the best drifter on the hill Next to himself, of course)

2) Bunta's an Ex-Rally Racer...the Impreza is a Rally car

3) You overhear Bunta telling his buddy to get him a car( minus the big wing on the back)

4) It only makes sense, that the master put his puipil back in his place at some point inthis show, even if the puipil doesn't know it's him
