I already use a fountain of youth resveratrol + polyphenols (Vivix) in liquid form - no need to wait for pill to swallow!! I like the calorie restriction association because the problems with overweight and obesity are huge and if resveratrol can help it would be great.

The problem with the pharm companies trying to make a buck on this is that, they will not be able to make money unless they have a patent. Resveratrol is natural, so, (as they did in the past) they will have to synthesize the molecule and create something very close to it, hoping it will have the same effect. Then they can patent this as a drug and make big bucks.

Remember you can't patent a naturally occuring substance. So we will have to depend on 'herbal' lines of this to get the best effect.

@colinmaharaj Your absolutely right, they cant actually PATENT Resveratrol as its a naturally occuring substance, but they did buy out the Worlds Supply of Grape required to make Vivix. Making it exclusive to Shaklee alone
