This doesnt work for me because i dont have the same config options as you do. I have the bios and the some of the plugins, but my pcsx2 window only has System, CDVD, Config and Misc. And under config i dont have graphics option or speedhacks. Whats going on?

There isn't any 'best setting' for everyone. You have to find out the optimal setting for your own config. The most important thing you need is a very powerful processor. And you better have a 512Mb vga and at least 2Gb ram. Then you should have no problem.

@Nordwinter - I agree that optimal settings differ for everyone, but I disagree that you need a "powerful" processor . Yes, processors are important but the most important for games are graphic cards. Memory config of a video card doesn't show power of the card but rather the number of processors there is in a card. (Ex. 9500GT 1gb < 9600GT 512mb). As proof, I still have problems running Persona 4 in full speed + quality while having a Phenom II processor and a GT240 card.

@gfxtremeanimeversion i have a phenom ii 970 amd's best quad core and look at the crappy resolution it will tolerate in mp,and fzero gx.guess what?,im using intergrated ati 4290,atleast its abit better then the graphics in the p4 (2400pro),for emulators like dolphin you do need a very powerful cpu like a 2600k or a super clocked c2q/phenom only a hd capable card like 5770 to be able to have no slowdowns,try emulating gc games like f zero gx and metroid prime.i managed to get 50-60fps in hd 720p!

trust me, the CPU is the most important component on most, if not all, emulation software alike. The amount of code it has to interpret, change and execute on a single core (whereas the PS2 has a few of them running their own tasks) is enourmous. More than you'd think
