I did my shea butter recently. The only ingredients were extra virgin olive oil and unrefined shea butter. It looked good some how but my hair fell out (!!!) even more than before. Do you think I mixed it up wrongly (got it from another youtube member). I can't really trust these home - made - products. I have still much relaxed hair.

@mrstmb1 Thank you :). The first batch is a little heavier and uses ingredients that are said to penetrate the hair shaft easily, so I use it on wet hair for heat cap/steam treatments. I also use it on our skin after bathing. The second one is a little lighter and I use it for daily maintenance. The ingredients like Jojoba oil and argon oil coat the hair and add sheen. :) x
