The only difference between this one and the original, besides the more modern society, is that the antagonists of the film are North Koreans, not Soviets. They were originally planning to have China be the antagonist, but due to concerns from distributors the film was depicted as a North Korean invasion.

There was some trouble getting a distributor to release it though I hear that has now been cleared up. The main enemy in the movie was China, however after some pressure from the Chinese government and the White House, the filmmakers edited North Korea as the main villain. Good luck explaining how North Korea got troops over here. Should be interesting.

Though not entirely accurate, but still a ok example. Yes the Canadians advanced the furthest but meet with the least resistance. Omaha had the worst as Bradley considered pulling them out, but reinforcements allowed them to advance past the defences but only 2000 yards.

You cant really say who is a better fighter out of the Western powers seeing how they are all similar, except for the French of course. Everyone is good in their own right in some arenas or enemies. I mean Germans during WW1/2 were good soldiers but still lost. Ultimately it doesnt FUCKING matter. And this is the last I comment on this page.

@NarutoFan1782 So human wave attacks make you the best combat troop? Granted, their T-34 tanks turned out to be good, but they didnt really come in to play until a lot later. Only reason the Soviets were still in the game is because the US sent a lot of weapons and supplies, etc. under a Soviet version of Lend-Lease. If we hadn't the, the course of history may have been different. Just like if Hitler had actually invaded England, instead of just bombing them.

Everyone forgets that Canada actually seized all of the great lakes and pushed in to the US during the war of 1812. I know, you all think that your side won. Fact is the US only did good at sea and at the beginning because it was a surprise offensive. However once Canada recovered we took more ground than the US and burned your white house down to ashes.

@GNut1980 Now let my clarify one thing, the US military relies heavily on their tech, Canadians rely on their will power and each other cuz our tech sucks. That is why we have the third best army in the world, sure our navy could be better and our air force was a laugh till we got some F 35s. There's a saying in all military, "The most dangerous soldier is a Canadian Infantryman with his bayonet". This is why George Lucas based his Storm Troopers off of us Canadians in WW1&2.

@TheSheano Canadians had only one beach, brits two and US two. The US had the hardest beaches and you can get a partial understanding of that in the movie "The Longest Day". Though not entirely accurate, but still a ok example. Yes the Canadians advanced the furthest but meet with the least resistance. Omaha had the worst as Bradley considered pulling them out, but reinforcements allowed them to advance past the defences but only 2000 yards.

Most of the issues are from people who use weapons for illegal matters or are just stupid. No matter how much legislation there will always be issues with it.

@TheSheano Vimy ridge occurred before US forces were fighting in WW 1. And the battle for the rigde occurred several times and in 1915 French Moroccans captured it but couldnt hold it and it two years before it could be taken again. And you cant say your the best fighters because it was four canadian divisions against 3 german which had not reserve to support them. And the Germans made severl blunders that helped.
