hey good job this is a great comment place as opposed to others sounds you guys are getting along great my son is a fan of Dream Theater he wants me to learn this song...It's totaly bad ass I've been playing since I was 16 this should be no problem.FlyingDream I may come for a few pointers if you don't mind,thanks you could text me on my channel and tell me where the crux of this song is I'll work on that part ahead of time.

Well, because if you are tense and play for a long time, you can get whats called a Repetetive Strain Injury, because your muscles are using the same movements for a long time. One of these injuries are called "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome". Look that one up, it will surely motivate you to take it easy and relax :D
