I was going to buy the new z4 until I found out 2 girls designed it. Brought 335i mSport instead.

2 girls ? It was Chris Bangle who designed the Z4. It was the first BMW with his 'flame' style which has appeared on every BMW since. thats what they call the really sharp folds in the sheet metal that give modern BMWs that very particular look.

The Z4 is an awesome roadster.

Apparently we're both wrong. According to Wikipedia it was a Danish designer called Anders Warming who designed the Z4 and Joji Nagashima who designed the Z3.

regardless it wasnt "2 girls" and even if it were, who cares !

drove the first one to be delivered to our dealership yesterday... it was a black hardtop sport with the 335 twin turbo motor - i drove it 30ft and then had to change my underwear...

provided money is not a problem, you should definately get the z4 instead of s2000 because BMW have superior handeling and muscle power. having owned z4 2006 and s2000 myself, the z4 handle much better, and feels like a drag race car with their acceleration. also imo z4 looks much better

I think this is the second truly attractive vehicle BMW have turned out in recent years.  The first was the 1 series. The updated 3 sedan isn't bad though.

but this new one, in my opinion.

it's better in ever aspect that the older one.

I dont like the new look at all, I drive an 05 z4 and i love the look of mine, but these looks just dont seem as attractive, and i love that mine has good trunk space compared to other convertibles like the saturn sky, now this new z4 probably doesnt have good space. Not saying it looks ugly, I think i just prefer the look of mine and the 06's and up a bit more than this one. i have heard alot of other z4 owners say the same too. and its not bcuz 2 girls designed it, its just the design.

I Also own an "old" Z4, and really think the newer is more mature in look, with finally the new V6 Turbo. Really kick ass !
