No, this isn't the church you are referring to. I've never even heard of that incident. We whole heartedly believe in seeking medical attention and that God has given the abilities and knowledge to such trained individuals to benefit us. While God is the Ultimate Physician and we take our health needs to Him and trust He will heal us if it is His will and divine plan for us, we believe in taking advantage of modern medicine and all it has to offer as well.
Is this the same church that had lawsuits in the '80s because members' children were dying from treatable illnesses because the parents refused them medical care? Or am I confusing this with another congregation?
What a beautiful video. It brought tears to my eyes cause Jesus never fails! He is a true God, the one and only God. My cardboard testamony would be this....

Praise the Lord for bringing me back. I love Jesus with all my heart and am so thankful for his mercry and grace. I've gotten married and now my husband is filled with the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus name!! God is an awesome God!!
I'm in college with little faith in myself. God has introduced me to the most amazing people, those that really care about me. I haven't looked at any of my test grades this whole semester because I was scared. Tonight I finally got the courage to look at them. Before I opened them I said a little prayer asking for direction. I'm passing everything. GOD IS GOOD.
This is a great video. To those of you that don't know, my mother was the last one with the leg amputation, leukemia & heart trouble. She's doing a lot better though because God is a good & healing God.
