  • Not a manual safety

  • No safety?

  • Good video, I was wondering if anyone knows if it's normal for a magazine in a flock to rock back and forth when it's in the gun?

  • Night

  • why the hell would you put your finger in the barrel..you can see that its empty..

  • thanks so much !!!

  • Good basic field strip. U should do a more in depth disassemble and vocab for all the parts.

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet..................

  • that isint all of the slide or main grip

  • learned how to do this in 3 mins

  • i love watching youtube videos but the comments always blow my mind, every video on here turns into a cuss out pissing match, the video could be a bugs bunny cartoon, the comment always go the same way. too many egos. Glock 17 is my fav.

  • @luvsexpain yeah I don't get it.

  • @WesMerc Oooh thats a squeeky slide. Lol Good video, Do you llube it regularily?

  • @wowkidlrn2play thats just the sound glock slides make

  • For anyone having trouble with the take down levers just put a bit of pressure on the slide pushing it backwards just a bit. This makes it easier for the levers to be pushed down.

  • @fieldx200 OMG I am so sorry. What can I do to make it up to you?

  • @WesMerc Naw, your cool man. I didn't know what you were talking about, when I checked my aol account and saw your comment. I was drunk as hell last night, and didn't mean to say what I said. Sorry dude, your video is actually really helpful. LOL.

  • @WesMerc Oh yes and when you re load the gun, I know you just press a button and the slide goes back to normal, But if you cock it, wouldn't it double feed? (I'm new to pistols.)

  • @wowkidlrn2play When you insert a loaded magazine and press the slide lock (slide release) the slide goes back into battery and chambers one round from the magazine. On a Glock, bringing the slide to the rear position is what "cocks" the firearm so after pressing the slide lock there is no need to "cock" the gun.

  • @fieldx200 why the fuck dont you just go buy a manual fucking jerk off

  • @potheadj Haha, wow why don't you see a fucking shrink you fucking delinquent. I actually took apart my gun without a manual. I am talking about the trigger mechanism and firing pin assembly. I wanted to see if I can get any pointers from you, but apparently you know nothing more then a fucking house wife would know about guns. MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @fieldx200 yea taking apart a gun with no knowledge of how to put it back together is real smart i hope it blows up in your hands

  • @potheadj Haha, who invited you to get in on this conversation. You are the classic "Rambo" who thinks since he purchased a gun, he knows all about them. If you need a manual to take a gun apart then you should not have one dumbass. They are literally self explanatory. Oh wait, they are self explanatory for normal people like myself. Little tip for you, shoot in the same direction everyone else is shooting. I reload my own ammunition, I am much more sophisticated then you will ever be. OH YEAH!!

  • @potheadj Apparently you missed the part when I said, I am looking for some pointers, not help taking it apart. You really don't know how to dissect a conversation and understand the meaning of it. If your having a hard time understanding this, please stop because I don't want your head to blow up in your hands. :)

  • @potheadj Thank you, please come again. I'm open 24/7

  • @fieldx200 WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU !!! ... do you have no respect for people ? hope u die and rot , i'm pretty sure nobody will miss a cunt like you.

  • @fieldx200 no one told you to watch the video dumb shit

  • good job of keeping it simple. i like how you take your time explaining the steps and going into minimal detail while still making it easy to understand

  • won't keepingg the mag loaded all the time weaken the springs?

  • @cheeple No. Springs are weakened by the number of compressions. So manually unloading a mag for storage instead of just leaving it compressed adds another stress to it. Like if you have even bent a piece of metal back and forth a bunch of times to break it.

  • i can disassemble it into 44 parts

  • @galaxymode lifelibertyetc has a great detail strip video

  • @galaxymode That is what I was looking for. I just disassembled/assembled it virtually on my iPod touch

  • @galaxymode Right on. After disassembling my Glock 19 for the first time I realized how awesome Glock was and how cool their designs are. I can't believe we pay so much for such simplistic and creative designs.

  • what moron keeps a gun loaded while doing a video - lucky your gun is in good nick and not gonna rip 1 off accidentally

  • @bmanrawk You are completely right! Remind me which firearm saefty rule I violated.

  • @WesMerc Screw that guy. I think it was an excellent idea to show a loaded magazine with a bullet in the chamber. You do a great job on this video, and I really appreciate it.

    Peace.

  • @bmanrawk Remind me which firearm safety rule I violated.

  • @WesMerc , yeah you should have explained it better when you were messing up with the disasembly in the beginning. pull back on slide for 1/2 inch, then press down and forward on slide release's and push slide forward to come off.

  • @bmanrawk maybe its the weapon he uses for self defense is someone broke into your house you would have empty mags? is that how it should be?

  • @bmanrawk He isn't stupid. He was obviously just trying to teach a more ignorant viewer a lesson on gun safety.

  • @bmanrawk Yeah, it's a gun, it has bullets in it!

  • oil it.

  • @NortonAntivirusable Sorry man I haven't a clue. I live in a (relatively) free state. My advice is to move.

  • sounds like he needed lube on the slide his sounded like mine sound when u cokc the slide

  • i bought a glock and it has a scraping noise when i pull slide back. is there a way to lubricate the slide withoutakening the gun apart

  • @Joeyal123 dude just take it apart. Check out James Yeager's videos on how to lubricate glocks.

  • @WesMerc i was going to clean lubricate the slide now i lost my gun lubricate lol

  • @Joeyal123 Put a drop or two of oil on the guide rod. Your guide rod is probably making that noise.

  • Slide Lock

  • How similar would this be to the Glock 23?

  • Great vid man! Got all the terminology! Greatness!

  • Nice vid. Simple, easy to understand. Well done.

  • @ruberciubeing I use it as a release but it is my understanding that it is not intended as such.

  • I love my Glock 17. Perfect for Zombies.

  • That's why Gaston invented the 33rd mag.

  • Send some to me in NY, all we have are the retarded 10 rounders. have any preban 17 rounders?

  • @WesMerc I believe that's also why Gaston invented the G18.

  • Very simple take down... nice vid.
