Loosen that pinky it looks like its glued in place, get it in on the action. Believe me it makes a world of difference in your ability to play. You probably already know this though so all you need to do now is get it done.
That color would be "Candy Apple Red"...This is the first and last guitar that I ever bought Brand New in Clearwater FL at the Thoroughbred Music in the old Kapok Tree Restaurant space. 1993.
Update: So on this whole....pinky finger....commentary here. I recently pinched a nerve in my neck and my index finger on my left (fret) hand is stiff and numb...still workable...but not as pleasant to use and actually painful after a couple of songs. I find myself resorting more and more to the other fingers...including....yes. The PINKY!!!
Hey great sounds. How is the output on those? I'm planning to put a 9.5k humbucker in the bridge and a P-92 in the neck. I need to know if they sound good under high saturation, since i occasionally play harder rock/metal. For an idea, check out the song "Shut Me Out" by Kutless. If you could give me an idea, that would be great. However, my main style of music is more similar to U2/Coldplay.
i think he meant the pickups. These pickups are pretty low output to produce a good metal tone. Look for something with higher output. EMG's are pretty much the gold standard for metal. These could most definately get you some very good rock tones though.
dude if slash plays it its for all toyoubecritic1 so its a good guitar get one you will shred your ass off man les pauls are kick ass so get one c u l8r.....
Funny you should say that....when I was 10 I tried to heave a jagged rock the size of a water melon into the water and actually did just that. My MD was walking nearby and shuttled me over to his office where he sewed it back on....still have a sweet scar there.
People are true assholes on you tube and creative critism is one thing but totally diissin some I think in uncalled for. Nice response though unfortunate for though. Sorry about your pinky. If any one wold like to see my wideo its called "solo output" I thnk the 90's les pauls sound the best. Mine a rare one its....wait youll have to see my video to find out
crap..is it the fretting pinky? can u move it normally? does this clarify that u can put a lost limb back and still it will function?? ur a legend loose a finger and play guitar. although im a guy (straight) i love u.
You have real talent! You can actually solo... unlike most people who think playing a scale over and over again is good... but this is real, raw, guitar.
Thanks..it was really loud. I will never forget the day I recorded it....Amp was probably only on 5 but these are so ballsy the crank really loud. I had it opened completely up in Tampa Florida in 1992 for an audition for a band called Hourglass Garden. I was straight in with a really amazing 1972 Strat. Pure bliss. This is nothing really just a little run...a loosening up of the fingers if you will. I will record something new soon enough -- thanks !
Great sound Im contemplating Fralins for my Les Paul, Which Model did you install in your Les Paul? Im debating between the PAFs or Greg Martins (Physchobilly) any suggestions?
I like your tone dude - what amp and settings do you use?
I must say I agree with whoever it was who said down there though, you should use your pinky more in your guitar playing, it seems almost non-existent.

I tried 3 sets of pickups in this...the std alnicos...the 57 classics...and the fralins...I like the Fralin pickups best of all. They break up beautifully and still maintain a warmth at lower volumes. Copper top's are gorgeous. Hard to beat it.
