If you're wandering what the differences between this and Normal Mode, they're few and far between for this particular boss. I played Normal and Hard back to back and didn't notice any changes. Then again, it's the first full boss of the game, they weren't going to change much.

@dragoom432100 Just checked. It appears it has more Hit Points on Hard Mode. I didn't notice any other changes though.

They definitely should have had more classic Sonic boss battles. It would have been cool to have had the classic zones like Green Hill, Chemical Plant, and Sky Sanctuary retain their respective boss battles IMO.

The doctor is obviously a genius but he has to stop using cheap parts, parts so cheap they're destroyed by the mere bounce of an anthropomorphic hedgehog. Also, after attempting to kill Sonic he asks for his help. Everything about this makes me smile <3

When the hell did this mech get so huge?! That's ridiculous! It wasn't even that huge in Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Episode I. They just have to screw with the gameplay mechanics in Classic Mode, don't they?  Sheesh.

@JosephCollins ummmm, obviously you've never played Sonic and Knuckles or never gotten to the end of the game, where the Death Egg Robot comes back in a much much bigger form with a freakin' JET PACK! It could even crush sonic with its fingers!

It already had a jetpack in Sonic 2. And it wasn't much bigger in Sonic & Knuckles than it was in Sonic 2, if ANY bigger at ALL. This version, on the other hand, DWARFS that version.

So what exactly are the differences between the difficulty levels? Do the bosses take more hits or have harder to avoid attacks?

@UltimaShadow7 I think the Robot has less time for you to dodge out of the way.

The next mid boss got a significant boost in difficulty on hard mode. It was FUN. :D

@ACESpark lol he lies, also in hard mode, the bosses tend to do some of their attacks earlier.

Hey wait - that music was a remake of an end-boss from one of the Megadrive games. Interesting! Thanks for sharing as I don't know the recent Sonic games. What platform was this on? PC I presume as you wrote 'pc' in your video tags?

@Monstoday It's avaible for Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS and PC. The PC version currently costs about half what the others go, so for sheer value that seems to be about the best one. There isn't a demo, so you can't really test whether your PC can run it or not. As a general rule, if you can run an Unreal 3 Engine game, you should be alright with this.
