When I lived in L.A. I would ALWAYS go check out the filming location for Halloween (The Nightmare on Elm Street house is 2 blocks over!) ANYWAY the one I could not find was the place they shot the interiors for Tommys house as John Carpenter himself told me they used a different house in the neighborhood of Orange Grove. Where was it?
Great made, man! You are a real fan! I like the part when you speak about how myers stabs the girl and small childrens are playing downstares. One day they will also know the horrible things that happned in that house!! Scarry as hell!!
Hello which house is the one they let you film in was it the wallace house or the doyles house?? How bout the garage& the laundry room was it behind the wallace house or the Doyles?? I've seen these homes personally from the outside but never in them hopefully one day I can be able to do this too thanks
idk if u guys live in or around the pasadena area or not but, u guys should rly do a halloween tour of some sort. =] im probably not alone in saying id pay big bucks for something this cool!!! love the video guys!!!
No, I live in Haddonfield NJ, this is where the movie was filmed in south pasedena in california. Debra Hill (writer) live in haddonfield NJ and she liked how quiet and spooky it was so she created a twon (Haddonfield IL).
i lived in haddonfeild nj for a bit and although some of the houses look similar to the houses in nj im not sure that it is. also the movie wasnt filmed in haddonfeild but the writer grew up there
i lived in haddonfeild nj . this is from wikipedia..... Although the movies in the Halloween franchise are set in Haddonfield, Illinois, Haddonfield, N.J. is in fact the inspiration for the town. Debra Hill, the co-writer of the movie, grew up in Haddonfield, New Jersey
i visited the 2 houses just off of sunset boulevard, one looked exactly the same and the other was under heavy construction and probably isn't as recognisable as it used to be. thank god i had the book with the addresses!
It was the house where they filmed most of the interiors for the Wallace/Doyle house. I asked the people who lived there if I could film in their backyard... they were so welcoming that they invited me to film inside the house as well! It was a very fun and exciting experience for me.
@mfcmk If I lived in those houses, I'd charge people to come in and shit lol. But I'm too big of a Halloween fan, just the fact that I'd be living there would give me bragging rights and I'd let people in just to be like "Yeah, I live here" lol.
