Yea, type in agesimscheat on and click a Sim and click what age u want it to be. And I may be wrong how I said it, it might be aging on or something like that. Type in Help in the cheatbox (Ctrl + Shift + C) and you'll find it :)

of course, on sims 2 I ALWAYS used maxmotives, motherlode (50 grand) is helpful when your in build and buy mode when your creating your own house, upgrading it, or furnishing it, or adding stuff. On sims 3 they have make a movie thing! im gonna try that today

Okay you have to do Ctrl+shift+new window+ c

it works easily on Vista. Btw the new window key is the little symbol on your keyboard.

If you have Sims 2 or 3, type in Help in the cheat console, and it lists all the cheats :) Post this to other videos so everyone knows and doesn't waste their times watching stupid cheat vids when all you have to do is just type in the word Help :)

I have held down Ctrl+Shift+C during gameplay dozens of times, and never once has the console appeared. I've tried several combinations of left/right Ctrl and Shift keys (shouldn't matter, but tried anyway). I tried it on multiple saves, new games, during different speeds (including paused) and still nothing.

I've tried rebooting Sims 3, and my PC; neither helped. I've also read that I'm not the only one encountering this problem. I'm using a laptop if that matters.

Any suggestions?

Ok, I found out what was causing the problem and how to fix it. Chances are you are using an HP laptop running vista, if that is the case then Ctrl+Shift+C is a reserved shortcut and cannot be used. Instead use this command: Ctrl+Shift+WindowsKey+C, the cheat console will appear at the top of the screen and you will NOT be booted to the desktop.

Actualy i think that sims 3 and sims 2 have the same cheats so the people that made teh game could just copy n paste some things to make it easyer for them. Mabye they felt they didnt have to change the cheats and just left it like that.
