I nicked many a prop due to twigs last time I flew in the forest. I'm thinking prop shields will help a lot.

it looks easy, but I recognize how it must have given quite a bit of stress at times. Great flying dude, this is excellent practice to become really proficient, should do this myself some day.

Do you have the recorded video from how you saw this through the goggles? Given the trees around, I'm very interested to seeing how much static was there and how you managed to make it through this horrible landscape with lots of occlusions. Not sure if you ever mentioned, what's your vid frequency?

@gtoonstra Thanks, youre right - this is good practice. I should have the downlink video still on my laptop - I see if I can cut out a sample and show it here. I'm using 2.4ghz and an jellowjacket diversity rx (8dbi patch and 3dbi omni). Radio is 433mhz LRS from Scherrer.
