A 3-star stunned punch instantly gets Kaiser knocked down.
In phase 1 you throw a face jab to interrupt his first attack for a star. have him do his dodge twice and earn stars off both. Immediately punch his gut for a little faster recovery. dodge his next attack, stun him, and unleash your stars.
The knockdown will happen with 2:40 remaining. (2:41 if you have EXTREMELY good timing)
As for phases 2 and 3, just do what you did in this video. Unless you find a better way to do them.
Thanks for the tip, but I've already found a better strategy (it does use that knockdown technique though) No vid til next week though, lent out my copy for now.
Wait so you can make kasier do that delayed dodge... right after a previous delated dodge? O.o as if this fight wasn't easy enough :L cheers for the vid
Probably cause when going for fast times button controls are the way to go. The motion controls are really fun, but not perfectly responsive for very tight maneuvers. Also, you can't do left handed star punches with the classic control scheme.
You need good timing. If you're too early, he blocks. Too late, he blocks. Very annoying to do 9 times in one fight. Oh, and the regular delayed hits are a pain too, though there's only 3 of those.
I actually got a time of 58.74 using my own strategy. It's not zallard's.

Holy crap...this strat is exactly thr same as mine...but I improved it to 58:74 :)

You know, there may be some way to counter his special punch, probably would be an instant knockdown...

I feel sorry for Kaiser when he preps himself for his best punch...and misses badly.

You can, actually. Press the minus button. It's clunky to use though and you're better off with right handed ones.

Huh...I didn't think you could get him to dodge anything but an uppercut. Good job.
