The intent is diminished by the end result. The tone, style and specific notes sound out of tune (whether the guitar is or is not properly tuned) and this does not retain a blues feel. This is not playing Stormy Monday, this is riffing to Stormy Monday, there is a definite difference between the two. Riffing just uses the backing track and general roots and scales to experiment with alternative riffs and styles of picking & fingering. This is a lesson but the result is not melodically appealing.
Sorry man but it sounds terrible. People start talking about trained ears and have more meaning(what ever that must be). Even it is for the trained musici your audience are 'normal' folks and i bet that they wil say its out of tune!
These people are idiots, the notes that sound off to your virgin ears are meant to create suspense and interest, so that the more resolved notes have even more meaning. I think it's awesome.
oooo nasty, surely there has to be some inside to grab hold of before you go outside. Hmm i like a little odd stuff chucked in but this is too much for me!! Granted its just a short demo solo.

He did it on purpose. I think it sounds except for the begining section because it starts out tense but i liked the rest.

Excellent, I can see where amatures wouldn't like it, it's challanges the deaf ear and goes beyond what a lot of guitarists can ever handle.
