@retroshark I guess you don't have enough knowledge to understand what it takes to make a video like this, and so you don't understand that the person who did this knows of the existence of the hubble telescope for sure.
Awesome...needs music. Everybody keeps worrying about Global Warming, but what about Global Light Pollution? In a few years, what you just saw won't be visible to us earthlings.
This same event is also why nasa is now converting a 747 into a gigantic flying telescope. Which not only will they be able to work around that, but also be able to see things ground telescopes cannot. Too awesome, no?
Try stellarium for a program that can do this in for any part of the night sky. If you download all the star maps you can do some pretty cool zooming.
