  • ya..its a river.lol.headin from lafollette...part of that is actually called clairefield tho...only part of its jellico..but when you hit jellirock..i live on da other side of dat river

  • Iv been their :( Thats where my Mom's Dad died

  • what river is that

  • That is Straight Fork Creek, which is part of the South Fork (of the Cumberland) River watershed.

  • my grandpa and his wife live there...it looks so cool

  • haha I live 3 minutes from there...haha

  • fuck you haters j-town is da bomb

  • i used to live in jellico,it is a ghost town and sucks balls.

  • It looks really small from the highway!

  • You were looking the wrong way. When you were filming the river you missed the house that has the awesome setup with the satellite dish mounted to a wire spool right next to the road. You did catch their junk across the road though.

  • Ooh, interesting! Maybe next time I'm out that way I'll look for that.

  • I know the house broncomarc mentioned. You can find junk anywhere though. You really need to travel on more local roads to find some real nice houses. Take TN297 aka Newcomb Pike. It takes you through Elk Valley along the western foot of Pine Mountain. Main St. through Jellico heading south turns into TN297. Once you're south of Newcomb, the valley opens up beautifully. It loops around the south end of Pine Mountain to TN63, which joins again with I-75 at Caryville.

  • That sounds amazing! I will definitely have to try that sometime.

  • Wow, thanks for the info! It's probably good that I didn't see the sign you're talking about...:>

  • You picked a good spot. You were traveling through the "Narrows" as they call it down there on US Hwy 25W. It's the only gap along Pine Mountain. You also may have noticed the sign post on the 1944 Troop Train wreck that killed dozens and injured hundreds.
