In most games, traveling from one end of the map to another with not much else to do but wait until you get there is pretty boring, but this song makes traveling the stars an absolute joy. It's like you're on a long car-trip and you found a radio station playing head-bang-tastic music.
There's been many great video game soundtracks over the years, but this is quite possibly the best of all time.
Gotta agree with this. You could take the longest flight across the map and the thought of being bored wouldn't even cross your mind. It felt like you were MEANT to take this long epic journey, as if every moment was a reminder that you were flying out there, in the big fight, pushing on to the next piece in the mission. Aware of the dangers but confident and optimistic.
@Subach831 Tell me about it. I love Star Control... but I love just flying around in HyperSpace listening to this song even more than I love playing the game!
