@jannneboy Many thanks for that. Although it was a late response I still hadn't worked it out and I've just done it thanks to your message. Cheers for your help.
try this: go to Suunto.com -> Support -> Download Center and User Manuals and find Vector manual or look at your own manual. Search page 10 and theres instructions how to change units.
Very good demonstration ¡¡¡ you could make an equal but for the core model? I have both models but it is a bit difficult to configure the core, I would greatly appreciate it thanks ..
Does anyone know how pop of the battery cap? It's suppose to be very easy. I turned it to the open position but the cap will not pop out so that I can change the battery. Thanks!!
i think this piece of shit has nothing to shout about....no alti,no baro and no compass....thats why this fagot only showed us how to adjust the timekeeping mode
Vector is Great, however If you wish to change to Suunto Elementum or just to have another Gem on your wrist, read this otherwise have a good day and sorry that I bothered you :)
I sell my Suunto Elementum Terra in Netherlands and able to ship it easily to Worldwide! Be in touch if interested.
I bought a suunto vector yellow with a negative display. The watch is great the only issue is it's very hard to see the display at nighttime. There is a light, but it's a pain to push the light everytime I want to read the time. So I recommend getting a positive display and it's should be a joy.
I wore mine for a swim in the pool dived into the water i take a quick look at the time and water was floating around under the screen and the face was completely blank i thought it was broken so i took it off and left in my locker then when i got home i put it in my draw and the next day i took a look and it was working again but the numbers were all distorted the came back the next day and it was completely fine it has been fine ever since.
The watch build is pretty tacky. Plastic with 4 unconvincing metal-type screws holding the plastic strap onto the plastic body. The glass is actually plastic and seems way flimsy and delicate. waterproof? doubt it.
The battery took a hammering last night due to the involuntary button pressing.
I can't believe the little choice in a sturdy watch that can do the lamest of funtions Alt, Baro, Comp.
I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow, avoid this brand or perish in the wilds.
i brought this watch yesterday on a whim and wish i did not.
It was on sale here in the UK for £100.
My finding: The watch is huge. It's not a daily wear watch if you weat shirts with button sleeves or cufflinks. Buttons can be undone but cufflinks are a pain if you need to see the time.
The other nag is that when wearing it to bed last night i woke to find it had gone onto compass mode, this watch needs to be able to lock the buttons so you dont press them unknowingly.
A Vector was given to me a few years ago and I just started using it this year. I actually don't have a need for some of the features, but its still a cool watch. Didn't know they cost that much either.
waw next suunto i am buying a vectore

it takes a bit for the altimeter to kick in and read correctly. I think they have one for flight though.
