  • At 3:05, I'm pretty sure I started believing in God.

  • It looks like Miles ghost could not have landed on or in a better place!!!! Great performance!!!

  • AMAZING!

  • is that just me or the piano sounds weird ? anyway this song is brilliant when you hear Thom but here it's sublimated !!

  • @keitaro21 a paper or something in the piano imitating the original sound...

  • anyone know who the guitar player is ? i would like to see some stuff where he's in the spotlight

  • @lintball0190 His name is Matthew Stevens. He's from Toronto and has a solo album coming out very soon!

  • @vincent95000 thanks alot man ! how did you know that by the way ?

  • @lintball0190 I saw Chrisitan Scott and his quintet live 2 days ago at Berklee in Boston. He told us Matt Stevens had an album coming out. And I can't remember which one, but either the bassist or the drummer has a solo album coming out too!

  • @vincent95000 it´s the drummer.

Jamire Williams got a band called erimaj

  • Sometimes he reminds me of Clifford Brown, great artist !

  • If anyone corrupts this video and dislikes you will go to hell.

  • This song is so freeing! Anytime my mind is in a bad spot- this clears it right up!

  • @trumpetLAD93 - the crackle is supposed to be there- it's part of the song! I feel what you're saying though!

  • 3:10 to 3:45 is sooo cool

  • I absolutely love the drummers playing here.

  • Is this Robert Glasper on Keys?? His silhouette might fit! und he wouldn't let Jamire Williams go play this awesome stuff without him ;-)

  • @SvenHild Would be soo cool... ;) but I think it's 'Milton Fletcher' on Keys

  • @diggingtreasures it would be an incredible combo indeed... :(

  • nothing but pure jazz...

  • @trumpetLAD93 that crackle is annoying, I was inspecting my speaker connections. Still beautiful.

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... sooooo happy.

  • my favorite drummer, guitarist and trumpeter in the same place, too many words come to mind yet nothing can describe

  • @FineTrobledPrince "Too many words, yet nothing can describe". Love it. I think that's the only way to describe this masterpiece.

  • Simplesmente magnifico!!!!!!!

  • a jazz cover of a thom yorke song, what's better than that?

  • This guy my favorite jazz trumpet guy to listen to. Great player.

  • christian scott is such a G

  • Us Placers by CRS

  • Great stuff! Atoms for Peace should add this guy to their band!

  • this is not smooth jazz. It's good jazz.

    That upsets me.

  • Every part of this band is perfectly superb!

  • One of the best jazz performances of the last years!

  • fucking amazing

  • damn

  • The key change is ok. 3:10 to the key change is what could go on forever.

  • damn check out that drummer. beautiful video thankyou for posting!

  • how does he do that whipser noise when he plays!!! i wanna learn that. sounds so awesome.

  • I was there with my son Gabriel, and have no doubt that Christian Scott is a modern jazz genius, and he is only 27... Terrific!!!

  • ahhhh im confused now! who did this song first? Thom Yorke or Christian Scott?

  • @100grapes Thom did. It's from his solo album "The eraser"

  • Lol the key change is just up to the dominant or something. I agree it sounds awesome but It happens in pop songs all the time :P

  • beautiful

  • An amazing piece of music. That drummer is ill.

  • @Jasmarsden Thats Jamire Williams

  • that just made my day

  • thats amazing

  • I love this version of "Eraser". The original is great but I love it when someone can flip the genre and the song still maintains its energy and integrity.

  • Thank you, muchas gracias, valeu mesmo pelo post !!!

    Strong and smooth

  • Now thats what i'm talkin about!

  • That key change... My god!!!!!!!

  • @bigtoine45

I know, goosebumps throughout my body

  • @bigtoine45 fkn beautiful man hahahah i just had to say "oh fkkk " at that part.

  • @bigtoine45 Sorry about my ignorance, but what exactly is a key change and when does it occur?

  • @DavidChoiDrumz Its when you change your key (;P), transposing whatever you're playing into that new key. A little after 3:00, when the piano player starts playing by himself, is when it occurs.

  • @NILOCOgov uhhh no it happens at 4:19...

  • perhaps mr. yorke should see this thing straightway

  • @yuricstro christian scott and thom have played together

  • YEEAAAAH!!!!

  • this is what I'm talking about! Period!

Straight out good music for the soul!

    Enjoy this special time together

    Strummin...SoulSince66!!!

  • @agh032

  • WOW! Christian Scott along with Robert Glasper is MOST CERTAINLY the future of jazz! Thanks for posting this!

  • @lew708 tho jamire did an explendid job on this one, as well as the whole album, I cannot stop wondering how this coud have been if chris dave was the drummer.
