Better than the song itself and even the performances themselves (which are stellar) is the way that this was recorded - even though it was done in the early 60's, this song sounds like Getz's sax was practically miked in the mouthpiece itself - practically every vibration of the reed can be heard, heck, almost every molecule of air being exhaled by Getz can be heard.

Que lindo.... reminds me of my university year, I bought a CD of stan getz, bossanova, just out of curiousity..., and fell in love instantly with the tracks. How I love the long sigh, and the damp and grainy feel of the sound coming out of his sax....
