In addition to the screenplay, the things that make this film are the narration - which comes across as if it's addressing children, the cinematography - which is mostly ambient light with lush shadows and highlights, and the performances of the entire cast all of which are flawless. @giancarloseguis yea i saw i knew she would die cuz its "unexpected" and she'll prolly die cuz she's the mastermind simply playing the victim. (who would suspect the main character) lol sidney is the one who jumps down the stairs but at who? the killer maybe? she's also at the door when that lady cop runs to it, prolly mirroring the end of "scream" when it was randy and stu at the door.

@ming60988 iw as just about to say that. it confirms two killers and dewey makes it up top where she is and shoots but it might still mean the end of her and possibly him. why would gale need two ppl to kill anyway unless her snoopiness led to her knowing more than she should
