How I take off my makeup (my favorite part of the day :))

i have used the M.A.C primer and didnt like it nor did it last..i also used other primers from sephora....but nothin seems 2 really last i currentyl use m.a.c studio sculpt concealer...msf...mufe concealer...n mufe hd trans powder....i used different primers but n a few hours im oily n dont c my makeup

they put sugar in the mac wipes? my skin is extremely sensitive as well and the mac lady gave me a wipe to take off my makeup for a testing.. it burned the hell out of my face for 4 days and i broke out bad! she also gave me some cream to take it off which didnt work... so glad you told me this

OMG that's the same reason I don't like wearing foundation. I hate taking off. If I could go to my counter makeup less I would.

@AlexandraBond The best makeup remover I have ever use is from Wei East Camellia Essential Oil Cleanser from HSN. It is a oil cleanser but It takes me less than 2 minutes to take everything off.

Nothin 2 do wit tha video but I can't seem 2 find a good primer that keeps my makeup on...i do my makeup n less than a few hours it gone ne sugesstions?? I have combinational skin also but more so oily?

i use the same exact wipes but for my eyes only, i use the yes-to-cucumbers wipes for my face because my skin is sensitive and acne-prone and they work better for me. i dream of getting a clarisonic, but i have to just work with my olay version for now lol

No!!! Cocoa butter is bad will break you out honey! Get another moisturizer..I use aveeno daily lotion..works great! Also after you cleanse try a toner..good old school witch hazel..watch how much your skin improves..real talk.

I love the Clarisonic! I just got new Mia 2 and gave Mia one to my daughter (she's also an Alexandra) . Mia 2 changes after seconds just like the regular Clarisonic is anyone is looking to get a Mia. Oh, I second grape seed oil, it's so cheap. Also, I use paper towels to dry my face and have noticed a big difference in cleaner skin, less breakouts! Thanks Alex!!!

I love the Equate wipes! I cannot use MAC wipes either I purchased some that I use to just take off my eye makeup but they break out my face. You look good chocolate-y chocolate, Alex I love tans on most ppl! Loveyourvids :-)

Hey Alex....just FYI, coconut oil, cocoa butter will cause breakouts, u may want to try jojoba oil or maybe a good moisturizer....I was using those same products on my face and I could not figure out why so many breakouts!!! I was told to stop using those and guess what....so yeah!! I have sensitive skin and I have to be really careful what I use...Vaseline is good to take off eye makeup or maybe try ponds cold cream...great makeup remover!!!! Thanks for the tutiotal ... I use Ponds cold cream to remove my makeup. Then I follow up with my reg cleanser...derma-e Vitamin A Glycolic cleanser, Witch hazel as a toner, and then apply a moisturizer mixed with a lil tea tree oil.

Just some input on the cocoa butter. Cocoa butter is comedogenic and an occlusive meaning it blocks the pores and creates a barrier on the skin. Its good for some areas to protect against harsh weather. But can be problematic for causing pimples. Same thing for shea butter and coconut oil. Just something to consider. Some good facial oils are castor, safflower, sunflower, jojoba. Anything with a low comedogenic score. I can't use cocoa butter or shea butter on my face because I will break out.

Girl... I use good ole fashioned Vaseline to get all that stuff off. and I know petroleum has a horrible rap sheet but sweety. It works wonders for me.. AND its cheap. LOL. I was prone to breaking out and when I began using vaseline and glycerine soap... My face is soft like a babies bottom. So weird tho.. cause I wouldnt thought my skin regime would cost less than 4 bucks.. and I was breaking out for a long time.

you cleaned your face good! I do mines the same way, the only thing is that i used vaseline to take off my eye makeup. I find this to be easier and the eye makeup slid off with ease. But you are so right its very important to clean your face before you go to bed. Plus like you i am prone to break out with pimples, but since i have been cleaning my face there is less break out. YAY. ;0)

i use those wipes too. but my eyes, im afraid of getting wrinkles lol, i use a q-tip that is lightly tipped with baby oil, the eyeliner mascara come off so effortlessly that way. i don't have to wipe much and i even use the gel liner that really sticks. i love your videos! i think its your personality. your very down to earth. no feeling like your trying to be miss know it all. lol

I use a tiny drop of castor oil to loosen up my eyeliner and mascara (both waterproof) before I wipe. It takes less elbow grease and the added benefit is thicker-looking lashes from the castor oil. You are right, though- you have to be careful not to get oil in your eyes, girl LOL. Also, the Clarisonic is GREAT! I have the Mia, but I want to upgrade to the plus so I can get the body attachments too...

A liquid eye makeup remover would be way more gental for your eye area. LOL contrary to popular belief black does crack lol I've seen it.
