I noticed that you got hit just a few times by the nightmare blocks (I don't know how to call those squared things..), so what I'm going to ask is: is there a way to understand wich block will start to move first and in wich direction is it going to move? I still play X6 now after years but I was not capable of finding a solution..thanks if you will answer me and congratulations for the outstanding gameplay

So it was Hyper Dash you needed to use. I always thought it was Jumper and Speedster. Would make sense as they make you jump higher and run faster. That combo is no good though. Can't keep up with Mother Nightmare.

Certainly one of the bad-assest videogame bosses ever.

maan i love this stage, was soo hard an cool, and a awesome theme ... the first time i played in the place of 1:57 i was like ¡yeah, finally yhe boss! ... and then when the lava kill me i was like ¡¡¡¡ wtf !!!! and when i pass the lava, comes another big lava room with spikes an ice !!! and the the boss was like impossible to kill!!! old times =)

it was really nice this show mmx6. cool music! some of stage are ridiculous. i still finding the other weapon. as of now i need the high wide jump (i don't know what to call it) and i keep trying to do dark hunter zero and ultimate armored x. still won't work in my PS2. i'm freaking bitch stuck in the stage 1 of gate!!! this is difficult mmx6 2d in my life! i've been player of this game! - leah

X6 is, in my opinion, one of the best parts in the X-Series. Pretty hard if you ask me, but fun though. This stage is one of the best in the Megaman universe I´d say, with some ass-kicking music to go with it.

The Jumper is required for X since he can't get past the spikes without it. Zero has the double jump so it's not a problem for him. Hyper Dash is definitely required for X since it's difficult to keep up to speed with the Nightmare Mother's rotation. As for Zero, I'd say it's optional since he can double jump over the Nightmare Mother.

Yeah I hate that attack too. It's hard to tell when it's going to fire the electrical line so I find dodging it to be mostly based on luck (unless you're in a corner).
