the beautiful part about this (would it be pearl jam if there wasn't one) is him openly admitting that this song is about him being an asshole of a friend. when he dedicates this song to them its almost an apology

That's classic - we were just kids and like we had a gang and we were on our bikes with our gang, you know, schwinn bikes, Chris had a yellow one, I had a green one, Andrew had a red one, I think. Is that you? That's Chris and Andrew, the Bearafanos. Some of the most down to earth awesome people on this earth. Great friends from way back are the best!!! Good to see Eddie appreciates his roots.
