I'm a big trance fan and I think you did a great job with this remix. There are so many instrumental only versions of tracks with vocals. In this case, I think no vocals works pretty well :) (though I wouldn't mind hearing your mix with vocals either)

hey guys. cheers for al the feedback. yeh im listening to it back now. and i have to agree with you. its shit haha! it was probably the first track i thought i did ok at.. but its just a learning curve. im not posting videos to impress anyone but merely as an online archive to see how i progress.

At first I was disappointed by the lack of vocals, but then 4:10 hit and...there simply is no possible way to dislike anything constructed so beautifully such as this. I salute you sir.

there's really no structure or build, the entire track feels bland and dull. try checking out a bunch of tunes and hear how each and every element build up the track. then you can take those as ideas and use them. practice is key :)

@BryantFC its fine without the vocals, but i agree it does seem bland and dull. just having the rhythm doesnt cut it in trance music; it isnt like rock where you could have just rhythm in improv and it'll still sound good because it invokes raw energy. trance music brings out a different kind of emotion and the melody helps bring out that feeling so its beneficial to add your own melody on top of where the fills are. also i agree that there needs to be some kind of buildup since it IS trance

are you kidding me? i have a few tracks signed to various labels and i obviously know what i'm doing. ALL music has a form of structure. this track just feels bland and dull just like i stated in my previous comment. it's not even going anywhere, just sounds like one complete loop. it's not bad, but it needs work.

@BryantFC ya i guess but trance is known for being bland and dull and have the same melody over and over and i personaly think that this remix is better than the original because it sounds more like trance and the original should have been an instrumental! and by the way IM a dj to so i also think i know what IM doing!!!!
