  • I don't understand how bodybuilding is so popular but this sort of thing seems almost 'underground', especially here in the UK. Boggles my mind.

  • how much can he lunge? lol

  • WTF he improved his leg strength and over all strength massively since this video I thought it was a different lifter!

  • crazy good!!! awesome lift

  • Deserves more than a simple "woo" double bodyweight at any age, even more so at 17, is insane.

  • Whenever I'm watching lifting videos I always end up back here on some BROZGYM video.. it makes me so happy

  • funny breathing style

  • how's josh progressing these days?

  • @mmmmmmmmmmhhhhhh check newest uploads. more to come.

  • Pray to god that you have a good knee joint-tissue. ;-D

  • How should you breathe when you're doing the clean?

  • STRONG!!! any tips on how to get that strong?

  • @EAdrian08 I have a few.

  • it is all tecnique. and a *tiny* bit of muscle

  • Damn bro good keep it up!!!

  • COOL! :) beautiful technique

  • WOW! I'm speechless.....

  • Beast in the making. Very impressive!

  • impressive. though u were gonna flaceplant during that second lift though :)

  • Damn I feel like a little girl now. I was only able to do 205lbs. You're strong!

  • Weightlifting should be a much more common sport! Good work

  • Pat Mendes '12 London

  • whoever 'disliked' this vid is a douche

  • very impressive! my best clean is 102kg at 84kg bodyweight. goal is to clean and jerk 1.5x bodyweight and snatch bodyweight.

  • beast

  • I used to come to the broz channel for videos, now I come for the 1 liners, they're almost as epic as the weight being pushed around.

  • i can clean that accept i weigh 200lbs

  • I am 80 kg and my best clean is 70kg.. Altough I have to say I seriously lack the technique, but nevertheless, that is super impressive.

  • Very impressive. Is she training specifically for weightlifting or as an athlete from another sport?

  • @Grummski sort of weightlifting specific...when he actually shows up.

  • @Grummski LOL did u say she? its a he hahahah

  • @Grummski lol you thought he was a girl

  • @Grummski LoL...it's a dude not a she.

  • @Grummski Lol you called him a girl

  • @Grummski lol thats a guy dude..... if that was a girl that would be olympic lifts for that weight class

  • @Grummski I thought it was a girl too...

  • Gdamn, kid. Good job. I am going work a little harder at the gym cause of you. I am 35.

  • wow, im at 77kg and my best clean was 120kg, this makes me ashamed of myself

  • Ahhh, the double bounce, i've been disqualified for that before

  • @gremlinextreme101 then you should go punch the referee in the face cause it's legal.

  • Its fine in Oly lifting

  • @gremlinextreme101 Only disqualifiable if your ass touches the ground or your elbows touch your knees :(

  • @gremlinextreme101

I've never been disqualified for a double bounce?! Go kill that ref!

  • I notice he yanked the bar off the floor - I thought you had to start the pull slowly and then accelerate, but now I think about it, it seems logical to start the pull speedy because then it can accelerate more and be even faster. Any advice on this?

  • @ShotokanKarateRules Experienced lifters exert the highest force to the barbell when the bar is around knee-joint height. This is the position the highest forces can be created. The barbell has to come near this position for force generation at a somewhat low speed to create a max force on the bar. For short lightweights, the bar is already at knee joint height when the weight is grounded.

  • @ShotokanKarateRules what matters most is that the second pull is faster than the initial pull from the floor..

  • impressive :)

  • Do you train in a special way or something? I mean you seem to have a very high standard in your gym.

  • @ZanyAnton The standard is not high when compared to the rest of the world.

  • very strong

  • Have you measured his VJ, coach? That would be interesting.

  • I'm no expert but it seems like a bad idea to hold your breath like that. From what I've heard breathing during lifts is extremely important because it helps to keep your spine straight.

  • @ParabolaTool holding your breath keeps the torso more rigid and more stable in the bottom position. letting your air out is same as letting air out of a balloon.

  • @ParabolaTool

    i'm a physical terapist.

in heavy lifts like this the internal abdominal presure helps the spine to stay strait. if he would bread that thing will be compromised. however is not good ideea to holf the apneea too long because of the intra cranial presure. so the best way is to find a way in between.

    sorry for my english.

  • whats his best clean and jerk?

  • I know the secret...more Front Squats. Great work!

  • WOW! This guy is good. You guys are doing a great job over there.

  • Youve got some nice body proportions there, looks about as ideal as could be for pulling from the floor.

    Well done. I am jealous.

  • I can't Wait to have this guy at Lindenwood University next semester throwing around weights.

    -Derrick

  • Hey D,

After hearing you speak at the coaches meeting at Jr's I was excited about your school and Josh is the first one I thought of. Take him under your wing and make him a monster. I'm glad he is going to go there too.

    -Broz

  • train a 69kg lifter!

  • find me one

  • @BROZKNOWS I'll let you know next time i'm in the area! ... might be a while though haha. keep up the good work with you lifters.

  • f@cking strong, and flexible!

  • gooood, your gym might just be the saviour of american weightlifting

  • I dont know if it is true, but i noticed a little different in technique between people who train "russian" and people who train "bulgarian". More mechanics the first, more agressive the second.

  • Strong. DAMN.

  • I am humbled

  • wow, was this kid this strong in the first place or what?

  • been training for about a year now. got pinned with 60kg Bs when he started
