This Phone Is Good But The Battery Life Succs Real Bad. I Take It To Work It Stands Two Hours With Some Texting Here And There But Once It Dies, Putting It On The Charger And Trying To Text Is Impossible. The Phone Keeps Dying And You have To Let It Charge Off Before You Use It Because If You Cut It On It Will Just Keep Shutting Off. So I Would Never recommend This Phone And Im Leaving Metro PCS And Getting The Mytouch 4G Slide T-Mobile With No Contract.

@MrMarkiemarkie21 yes. the phone comes with three virtual keyboards and all of them have the option to speak your text. the google app also comes with a voice search, and any keyboard app i've downloaded from the android market also came with the speech to text option as well.

i believe the app store is necessary because the old android phones the optimus m and huawei ascend, their updates to the 2.2 android os are downloaded through that app store and it's just a pain trying to get it from your pc to the phones sd card. so if there was every an update on this phone it would probably be through the app store but all others aren't too necessary

If you really have a problem with the battery life, download ADW Launcher. It works very well with almost every android phone. It will give you a different home screen but it works well. It actually uses less android system. It works fantastic and actually saves your battery much more life.

I just bought the Galaxy Legend yesterday. Im not nearly as impressed as Sydney. I fing the sppeds slower than expected and the BATTERY??? Lasted just 5 hours before needing a charge. Id take it back, but Metro does not do refunds on this phone.

the battery life is very low, I turned the phone on at 7am by 10:30 it was dead, this was without using anything only by having it on, a friend told me about an appkiller and that helped, it stays on until 12:oo then I swap another battery and that's how I get my day through with this phone, the physical keyboard is a little hard to use too and it takes some time to get used to the functions button and it doesn't work very good inside buildings one has to get outside to use it. thanks.
