@tybo09 Who liberated France in WW2 (or the Jews in the camps, for that matter)? Well, sadly, the only good examples I can think of come from that period, but it certainly proves that a foreign power can do good for an oppressed people.
Hopefully that's how it will eventually play out in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The world didnt half ass that war like they are this one. Mulitple countries sent millions and millions of soldiers.. We cant say that for this current one. That is why it wont work - not enough man power. Plus we actually had a TARGET then - the german nazis. Alot easier to spot in their suits and concentration camps then a terrioest in normal native clothing buying an apple from a street vender.

I mean in the American Revolution the continental army got help from France, but America would not be a nation today if the French people where sitting their saying "These American Colonists are oppressed, we need to free them."
Unless the people are willing and able to make a charge for themselves and liberation attempt is hopeless.

9/11 hijackers stated they did what they did because of the US sanctions on Iraq which killed over 1 million people, US military bases in Saudi arabia and US support for Israel, it's pretty clear they come over here because we have been over there in their lands for over 70 years.
Now you can argue that the US should be doing the above things, but lets not pretend they attacks us for our "freedom", if that was true then why don't they attack sweden or switzerland ? why the US ?.

I don't know who fired it...but check out the movie "Taxi to the Dark side" -- it's about an afghani taxi driver (dilawar) who was beaten and tortured to death BY AMERICAN SOLDIERS at the Bagram air base for no god damn reason...he wasn't a terrorist, he was just a fucking guy...and we killed him...you may think this is an isolated incident, but look at abu grahib, etc...we are fucking killing people that have nothing to do with the "war on terror"

Thanks a lot Rev3. The quality of this video is a big improvement over the recent vids. Penn's ad at the end was without the ranting that made others long-winded and too repetitive. He spoke clearly and carefully so he didn't run over his words and didn't feel the need to go back over what he just said. Good work.
