i have a question. in this game, when the enemy starts a combo on you (or juggles you) there is no special parry or guard or reversal that can get you out of it?
also, in no game besides killer instinct you can interrupt the combo of your enemy with an atack
not in sf, not in mvc, or any other game without a burst mechanic, the soley idea of the combo is to land a sucesive number of atacks the connect because the hit stun and your recovery frames (links) or can be chained one after another (chains)
for some reason i assume that you ask this because you play brawl...
lol i have indeed played brawl, but now that you mention it, i guess i would get annoyed if the enemy could break out of combos easily, then it would probably go back and forth lol. i hated the game mechanics of brawl, loved melee so much more (marth ftw)
@Hecatom Well... there is another game that you can escape combos too, it's called Guilty Gear, and the way you get out of the combo is called Burst too because, well.. Blazblue is Guilty Gear's successor. soo.... yeah. you missed to mention Guilty Gear.
read again, he was basically asking for something that you can use to interrupt the combos of the other player, like the combo breaker of KI, wich is different from the burst of GG, something that i established in the 1st post too, you can use the burst on GG to interrupt a combo yes, but you cant interrupt all the combos, wich is what he asked, the only game were you can do that is KI

id rather fight that and have a chance than fighting jin and having no chance from him using only ice moves, jin is so cheap i swear and is really easy to be good with
I'd have to agree. I main Noel, but her combos outside of her drive are pretty bland. There aren't really any good looking ones that don't rely on her drive. Her drive combos are really good and pretty, especially when used in conjunction with her grabs.
its a trip most people that i know that own SF4 want this game or have it because of it difficulty in learning how to play it and also heard it was hard to learn to master so im gonna buy it to i love a good challenge.
Noel is a rough one to take out; her rushdown and mixup game are really strong, even through her damage is mediocre.
Jin's rushdown game is different; his damaging combos usually land the opponent a distance away so applying steady pressure gets complicated. But his combos are more damaging and has the potential to stop a rushdown cold (no pun intended) thanks to his drive abilities.
Great match! One gripe: why spam and biff Noel's air super repeatedly? Not that I could do better. :P

you'd be surprised at the amount of crappy noels I've encountered online... and I don't think that noel was spamming at all (again, you'd be surprised...)
when I say mk I mean how in MK they'd have combo sets... I wanna know if this game is EXACTLY like GG... that is all you needed to tell me... is it just like GG?

i dont know japanese, and there isnt a single video (at least in the ones that i watched) that you can see the complete intro secuence :( , but i remember that someone posted the traduction on dustloop, i would try to find it
The only thing I don't like is that your guard is limited and I guard a lot...

The reason I think he uses her air super a lot is because it's really safe to use that instead of her ground attacks.
Her ground combos are good too but slightly more risky than her air combos :]
