  • Thanks so much for the summary! Post the whole thing if you can, it's really interesting :)

  • Thumbs up if a college/university class brought you here!

  • Where are the other parts of the video btw?

  • Hey! Sam Rockwell in that beer ad! Love him!

  • commercialized indeed. we all try to escape from TV bc of all the commercials so then we try youtube and EVEN it has commercials. Its soooooo annoying that now they are even making us deaf by making their commercial be twice as loud as the show you were originally watching.

  • WHERES PART 2 ???

  • Hahaha!! I wish my shampoo did that!!

  • @Eternalsummersong Well, if the world went by advertising and invented some sort of absurd magic, that would be true. Fortunately, despite the lack of that ability from shampoo, there are other, much more fun ways to achieve that feeling out there in the real world ;)

  • Plato was aware of the Precession of the Equinoxes. Ancient societies observed that the stars "fall back" 1 degree in 72 years. This roughly 26,000 year cycle is caused by the wobble of the earth's axis and causes climate change just as the tilt of the axis gives us summer and winter. A polar shift occurs when the solar system moves below or above the galactic plane.

  • Advertising is disgusting, i use ads as a guide to what not to buy..

  • @tehbolkz omg so do I hahaha. Normally whatever advertisement annoys me the most is usually the product I never buy.

  • refreshing

  • There is a documentary called "Stupidity" under "RUstupidCBC" that fits in well with this...

  • @vidstuff007

I think you should look into feminism..

You will see the equation of agendas that add up.. and why media and music all aim at women..

Basically, push men out of the market (being as we think more conservatively) while women are natural born consumers

  • @OutSpokenGamer

There is not much hard evidence to support either of those claims or "equations" (haha). If you think that advertising doesn't target men, it means that those very advertisements are very effective on you as one of the aims of newer ads is to get their message without making you feel like you are watching an ad. Use oldspice? drink a bud or capt Morgan? You watch the whole ad because it's funny and think that you haven't been "targeted" like women. You are pretty naive.

  • I agree with CrispyClair. Sut Jhally has done great work and this is one of his best.

  • Thanks for putting this up! I love this guy.
