dragon scale is still best light armor. although when you get smithing up for people that use light armor you should still go around the right b/c daedric weps are also the best...

A great way I found to increase the Smiting skill was to go out and kill game for pelts, make leather, and craft Leather Armor, it's a good method for me since I'm still early in the game and Leather Armor is night free to create.

i got both dragon AND daedric armor at level 22 with 100 smithing (:

all i did was smith till 100 and make both armors and get upgrade to legendary.

once i got it to 100 and got both armors i just do the quests and all that shyt, so yeah..

just focus on getting 100 smithing and you should be set.

Hey, hope someone can help, I made my daedric armoury all legendary, but it only has a overall damage rating of around 350, now when I try and go to the blacksmith workbench and upgrade it even more, it says I like the skill and it is not possible, my smithing is on level 100 and I have all the ingredients, any reason for this? @bestluke8899 Well make the the Smithing Gear (Gauntlets, Amulet, Ring and Clothes) and it will improve 28% + 28% + 28% + 28% and if you make a Smithing Potion it'll give you 25% Smithing Improving for 60 seconds. Also get all the perks for one-handed skill if you have 5/5 you'll have 80% more damage! Hope it helped ^^

Maybe no in armor stats but Ebony mail can muffle your movements and emits a radiation field of posion damage. o_o and has more defense than ebony armor. and it is only two points behind dragon plate armor in defense

To get max armor rating use fortify smithing enchantment and fortify smithing potions. Enchantment goes on torso, hands, ring, and necklace. If you have have high enchanting and alchemy ratings, you will be able to improve armors over twice as much. It makes HUGE difference.
