  • Money spent on traffic lights is hardly ever well spent. Those places didnt even have a street crossing that made a light necessary.

  • even worse in Chiang Mai... rent a motorbike, then you dont have to worry...

  • It's not only the Thais who have this problem... It's the tourists too!

Last time I remember trying to cross at the crossing, a tourist was speeding his way up on his rented motorbike trying to beat me and my family, my dad stopped him and started shouting at him because what he was about to do wasn't right and he started shouting back at us saying "This Ain't Europe" :(

...stupid asshole... (not you, the guy i was talking about)

  • wtf!

  • its still like playing dodgems wherever you go lol

  • Hey its not their fault. They are just too busy getting their tiny gook cocks sucked 12 year old shemales

  • Your videos are pointlessly and annoyingly sensationalist. Where in Thailand do they stop for red lights? You could do an equally sensationalist video about people failing to signal when they turn, or driving in two lanes at once, or motorbikes that zip past cars in the median. So what! It's Thailand! They have their own way of doing things, and there are benefits and drawbacks to everything...

  • @SnugglePuma The red light video was for fun. Perhaps the music would give that way. But the child porn and jet ski scam are serious issues. Don't like the videos, don't watch them.

  • วิดีโอ ประจาร ไทย

  • dumb fucks

  • gonna go there and peg rocks at peoples cars and say stop at red lights YOU ASIAN PIECE OF CRAP DRIVER aka WOMAN

  • I filmed people crossing a dangerous road in Pattaya, see it on my channel

  • Damn I miss Pattaya even though I have been there 3 times this year. I truly am a Pattaya addict :)

  • Damn I miss Pattaya even though I have been there 3 times already this year. I truly am a Pattaya addict.

  • HEY!!!

Who needs traffic lights?? lazy modern people that cant drive... or walk true traffic... ¿?

I would love to drive my gremlin there :D Weee

  • Okay that Pataya Chonburi and that is a one way street why da fuck in the world you would have a red light there.

  • Invest some more on red light cameras. I the investment would pay itself.

  • กูคนไทย...พวกมืงทำชาติเสียนะแสดดดด

  • PATTAYA is the shit of the world...

  • Thais do not always stop at regular traffic lights so why would anyone expect them to stop at a pedestrian traffic light? Forget about the cops enforcing anything besides trying to get a bribe. All the Thais will wear a certain color shirt on a certain day of the week but forget about getting them to even wear a motorbike helmet to keep their head from cracking open if they have an accident.

  • @ThailandUndercover such exquisite letters

  • Smooth as silk.

  • The traffic light is the same model as the ones used in Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand.

  • ช่างน่าอาย

  • Maybe.... Just a thought.... He didn't see them...

  • when did they add lights in?

  • @Komsan473 About 8 months ago. They are still mostly ignored today, often turned off completely on the weekends when they are needed the most.

  • @ThailandUndercover Last year i was living in sri racha as an exchange student and i went to pattaya alot and didnt remember seeing any lights. I thinki there is 1 traffic light in Sriracha that people do luckily stop at . Ill be back soon!

  • I thought I like Thailand better than my point of origin country. Now I change my mind.

  • why it's normal of thailand traffic

  • Colour blind?

  • They probably don't know what red means.. Maybe red is go green go too

  • good video and good music ,,well made,,

  • I laugh when I see a crosswalk in Thailand. Purely cosmetic. Don't ever dare use a crosswalk or these new crosswalk lights. The last time I was over there, I noticed them, but I didn't stop either. I was on a motorbike and didn't dare risk getting rear ended by a car.

  • If there's no one waiting to cross the road, then why should the cars stop?

  • Such barbarians.

  • funny.. but if someone hit by car not funny indeed.

  • mid-november afternoon, the pedestrian traffic light at Foodland mall was red, but no-one was crossing ... Me, as many other vehicles we're coming from Sukhumvit road ... I began the braking, but both those beside and behind me wasn't giving a damn, I've felt like a sheep among a buffalo herd stampede

  • Like this video, reminds me of the years I lived in Thailand running for my life every time I crossed a street in Bangkok, Pattaya and Patong. I been in all countries in South East Asia and the thaidrivers are worst drivers breaking most of the trafficlaws that exist. Drivers in more poor countries like Indonesia and Phillippines are a lot better.

  • the money was well spent, you almost never find those lights in BKK.... What they need to do is enforce the law and educate their people.... BUT as a foreigner staying in Thailand for 16 years I can tell you now, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

  • @1501007551 Yes, many of the Thais are finally slowing down or stopping for the lights now. Not all, but most. However, when they built the lights they forgot to ground (earth) them so they have recently gone around to all of the light poles and grounded them and left the ground wire exposed for anyone to steal (sell the wire) or in some cases trip over them, as many of them are sticking out like little foot traps.

  • @ThailandUndercover tell you wht these is thailand. green light stop , orang go fast , red go

  • @1501007551 Since the lights are set up, the police can now write as many tickets as they want. Eventually people will stop if they keep passing out tickets.

  • For me , i just walked across the street and let them crash me. but when the car is coming near to me then it stopped immediately and i just shouted and gave a middle finger to them.

  • mayby thai ppl dont see colors could be it ? some animals see black/white

  • Darwins proof: Survival of the fittest....

  • Very typical Thailand. U have to wait or force the traffic to stop to survive or cross.

But, i experienced same thing (almost hit by a car) in Oslo today. No light but a crossing marked well..

  • We've got the same lights in Bangkok- drivers generally do stop, but if there's clearly no one waiting to cross the road (and no cop nearby) then they'll go ahead.

I'm surprised the boys in brown haven't yet picked up on this as a money-making opportunity!

  • @aroundtheworls This would be a ticket goldmine for the police should they choose to use it as one. I have faith they will figure it out sooner or later.

  • Today the crossings on beach road have attendants with white gloves and flags who stand in the middle of the crossing whilst it is green. It works very well.

Good to see City Hall has got it's act together !

  • Yes this week they have dimwits with flags trying to walk pedestrians across the road by stoping the traffic with there flags. Only thing is they have being doing it without turning the lights RED! Da! Could have paid these dimwits to work the crossings they already had before spending $4.3mill on trying to kill tourists. Still plenty of money spent to feed there dogs.

  • 4.5 millions dollars are better spent on building bridges for pedestrians to cross the road. Bangkok is a bustling city where people shouldn't have to stop every few yards. Keep 'em moving! Invent something. But the traffic gotta keep moving.

  • @shoa31 "4.5 millions dollars are better spent on building bridges for pedestrians to cross the road."

Agree! I love those things. Only time I ever feel safe on Thailand's roads

  • They should have spent the money on OVERWALKS instead. Safer for all.

  • I take it there is no licence for operating any vehicle there, and if there is, there is no test, and if there is, there is just a small bribe to pay to get the licence. FUCK< THATS INSANE traffic, lol

  • LOL Awesome video m8

  • Pedestrians are 100 Points for Thais , 500 Points for Farangs !

  • Great video! I am in Pattaya and it is true that nobody stop even with these new lights. I even saw a huge truck driving i uncoming taffic on the freeway because it had missed the turn around...Nobody respect the law and the Police doesn't do anything to reenforce it. As you saw it was the Tourist Police car which went thru the red light...we need more video lke this one...

  • @nammyohorengekyo64 For 2 or 3 days they tried using crossing guards in addition to the lights. Most all of them have failed as well, leaving only a few key locations with guards. Lets see how long they last.

  • It is not Thai peoples fault - (nothing is) it is the crazy farang crossing the road.

This video sums up Thailand - full of stupid fuckwits, always going to be a backward nation of dullards.

  • @skiman189 why did u fuckwit come to thailand then, u must me the dumbest of the dumb,, i heard ur fucking country been overtaken by the muslims already, i think thats why u left

  • @skiman189

Yeah, Thailand is full of stupid fuckwits, and they keep arriving day after day at the Airport.

    Take you for example....Twat !

  • its not as bad as what u made out to be mate, u r rite they dont stop at the redlight but at least they still generally stop for people the cross, i know its still not good but not as bad as i thought

  • @arsompa You are correct, they do sometimes slow down or stop for someone crossing the street. The lights were not needed. The system worked fine without them. Giving tourists a false sense of security while crossing the road is very dangerous.

  • @ThailandUndercover fair comment

  • @ThailandUndercover

The only thing the lights accomplished was causing traffic jams on the occasions when someone did stop. Drivers have realized this and just ignore them.

That last segment is in my neighborhood and if the photographer had panned east, you would have seen many people crossing the road the tried and trusted way -- jaywalking. We all do it every day. It works.

The lights were a waste of money.

  • @arsompa Ah I hate crossing the streets here in Pattaya. It's never "as bad as you think" until you get hit.

Or worse, you could be driving around, stop at a red light, and have a Thai ram into your vehicle.

Police comes and guess what? It's still YOUR fault. Why?

You say you were at a full-stop and it was the Thai who rammed into your vehicle. Yeah well, with their logic, the Thai wouldn't have hit you if your foreign arse wasn't there.

    You're foreign, you lose.
