Actually, I think his dancing is awesome. Especially accenting the snares. Not only that but the business suit with this dancing kinda breaks the idea that business people can't dance hip-hip genre styles.

Those who say this dance is a joke and/or it sucks clearly don't understand what dancing is at the heart of it. Do you want ballet? pop-lock?

pop-lock is actually a combination that some dancers do. It's a combo b/w popping and locking.

Both are styles associated mostly with funk music. Popping is characterized by fast hand movements that follow the rhythm of the beat while the body moves in poses.

Locking... well, just think of the robot dance lol.

nah not really. I just like watching people dance and understand the characteristics of their style. I also like to see how creative they are.

I don't know if JT is dancing a specific style, but it looks like it is hip-hop related. To dress in a business suit though, changed my outlook on hip-hop. I never thought of hip-hop mixed with a formal atmosphere.

In any case, to me, dance is a physical expression of the body performed to music.

Justins good, and yes dance has developed but we havent seen Michael dance in a while, even at his 30th anniversary show, justin was copying his moves as he is an inspiration to him. Had Michael not been around whose to say Justin would be dancing like this at all.
