What the man is simply saying here is that when you start a music genre, try and make sure you finish it the same way. Why? because check out bands like green day, red hot chili peppers, my chemical romance, and the list goes on. We listened to these bands for a reason, then when they change it it's kinda like... huh? So for instance lets say you played a few different genres of music in one the first time around you should continue it that way.

the thing that baffles me the most is that we listen to these people's political opinions as if they were harvard graduates and the nation's foremost experts on politics. they're just people, alot of whom are less intelligent and more irresponsible than most average joes, so i dont know why i need to hear their opinions on the nightly news.
