  • I am playing this at my senior recital..... well..... maybe not anymore........ Ha!

  • @PianoWiZ4 She's not a prodigy... more like a piano goddess ;) "We don't use the 'p word' in this house" -Emily's mom

  • When i first say Emily play i was like O-M-G! Shes an amazing little prodigy and i love the piece she's playing. I can't play solfeggietto that well! Keep on playing!

  • Fake.

  • @WilltheTowelie AND WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S FAKE???

  • @WilltheTowelie Ha ha ha, it's not fake ;)

  • Too good. Amazing Emily is totally gifted XD wish I was gifted like that lol

  • my friend is jealous of her and thinks he is better then her thats why he is punching me while i type this message

  • I play this.

  • Oh, the humility of being beaten by a 7yr old girl....

  • heey everybody, i made a rock/metal version of this song, if you have any time plz check it out!

    thanks!

  • imagine how fast she could type when she's older (or even now) ...

  • OMG! How?

  • Very, very nice. Keep it up!

  • HERREGUD!!!!!!!!! this is like the legend of 1900!

  • look at her feet she's not pressing at the correct times...

  • Hey, I just learned this! (I've only been playing for you know, eight years, and I'm twelve. This girl makes me feel bad about myself....) But it actually is rather easy to play, very repetitive.

  • hi, I've been watching solfeggietto videos all over youtube..

    but this one is AWESOME!

    that;s all, thanks

  • it's actually relatively easy to play, i played it for a recital a year and a half ago, very repetitive with continual paterns

  • I think she missed a note. :D

Being serious now though that was wonderful. Her hands can't even span the distance between some of the keys yet and she plays it so well. Of course, compared to how well I normally play that she's already a god.

  • i can play this as well as she can, but i make it look terrible like i'm having a seizure...my form gets worse the faster i go :((

  • i used to love pianos as a kid .. coz they had a thing like gas/brake/clutch pedals

  • i luv this little girl

  • im playing this song noW!!!

  • Brava! When I saw that little girl walk out I thought it would proceed at a beginner's pace. I was delighted to hear a true prestissimo with excellent control throughout--all from someone who needs a pedal extender!

  • this aint a gift from god...shes just a brilliant and very talented musician. why do people always have to turn to magic for amazing stuff? give her the credit! not some dude im the clouds :L

  • my favorite pianist!

  • omg!!! BRAVO!!

  • this is nothin. i did this when i was 2 1/2.

  • Well done! She didn't play it too fast but her definition of individual notes could have been better and not so blurry (hard to do with little hands) but marvelous work nonetheless. My daughter is only 7 and also playing this piece but these kids are not robots but are especially gifted, love what they do and work hard at it. Thanks for sharing!

  • I think that she played it too fast.

  • @MrSupereddy I think you wish you could keep up. :)

  • Your supposed to play the song fast. I'm working on the song. It's supposed to be played as fast as you possibly can while getting every not correct. An there is no harmony bastard you no wiz

  • she plays too fast .. no harmony thats why ur watching a 8 yeas old play piano if bach was alive he would smack that girl

  • @BaroqueBastard If Bach were alive today, he'd hear what was being played on the radio and then he'd kill himself.

  • @ClassicalFan28 The tempo of the piece is Prestissimo. That is as fast as music can be played; it's hard to play this quickly such a short piece and add emotion.

  • sure it needs some skill to play that fast but then this song sounds as if a robot was playing it. I wonder if she's able to play this song a bit slower with more emotion. That's something most of these "ultra fast prodigys " cannot do.

  • @Taiko000 Doesn't sound like a robot to me.

  • The speed is impressive. I can't play that fast. But I prefer playing the song slower. You feel the emotion behind the song better. Or if not better, differently. I love the feel of this song when slowed down.

  • im 16 ive been playing piano scince i was 4 practice 4 hrs a day, i get this song, had it for about a month, cant play it near as fast as she is, im still messing up the notes everywhere, come on here to search for a professional pianist to play it, find this one, listen, and she is near perfect, she hasnt gotten all the dynamics down, but come on guys, even though shes a child prodigy, most child prodigies arent great with dynamics, give her 10 years and she will be one of the best pianists

  • I played this song at the age of eleven, maybe? And i don't remember ever being able to play it that fast! Wow such talent!! She's somthing special.

  • When people on YouTube try to show admiration by commenting they make it pretentious by: talking about themselves or their children, commenting on the piece as if they would know it intimately, and lastly by commenting on "the beautiful detail". THERE IS NO DETAIL. Just 16th notes, agility, and detail which Ms. Bear professionally shows.

  • People should only comment on the piece if they personally experienced it. For example, the parent who said the speed is the easy part obviously isn't a pianist, for anyone who has tried attempted this piece know that dexterity and agility is the challenge in this piece.

  • She has great musicality, those dynamics she uses are wonderful :)

  • It's not the speed, that's the easy part. My 6 year old can do just fast, but She has very good control of dynamics.

  • @TheLinama sorry it doesn't sound like you know what you are talking about

  • @ayesha1661

really? she doesn't have control of dynamics or you think I am talking about something else? there are plenty people on youtube that can play as fast, but fast does not mean good.

  • @TheLinama

it may seem that way but that's how this certain song is supposed to sound. look at some of her other videos. i think shes pretty good :)

  • @waterheart702

maybe I did not make myself clear. I said she is very good. I did not say she is not good. I was just pointing out that she is good not only because she is fast at that age, but also has very good control.

  • I'm not even a pianist and I know thats a very complicated piece to play.

Emily is a very talented and pretty girl.

Now when will Jackie Evancho and her get together?

With Jackies' amazing voice and Emilys' incredible talent on the piano they'd make an amazing team!

  • @shakenama I'm a pianist as well, and I know that anyone who can't play the piano, or just not very well, would say that Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is complicated. However, I agree with you. The song does appear to be rather difficult. I just thought I would put that out there.

  • This is such a tallented you girl! She obviously has tremedous skill, but to have this level of musicallity at such a young age is amazing. The dynamics, accents; all the details were brilliant. Music world, meet our next Glen Gould.

  • wow shes amazing im learning this piece and im 15 so just wow..

  • how old is she

  • That was really amazing thumbs up. She should of practiced a lot. I am nine years old and I really do not know how to play that yet. I play piano and violin, and I really want to play cello too. I wonder how she got that good.

  • thumbs up if u feel embarrased that emily pwned u and u r older than her

  • @TheSmallfang not really

  • unfair..

  • how long does she pracitice?

  • i'm playing this piece for the talent show really fast like her, but i'm just sooooo JEALOUS!!!!

  • i love this piece

  • What's wrong with this kid?

  • cool coment twrrrkkkkkkg nggggggggggggggggggg

  • play little monkey, play

  • @jjbinks3 You're jealous because you can't play...unless "monkey" is a compliment in your book.

  • @jjbinks3 Type little monkey, type!

  • omg im terrible at it how old is she

  • @tintin49100 6 years old.

  • That was AMAZING

  • amazing. uh i was told to play this song, and i just looked it up and OMG shes amazing. thumbs up if you agree.

  • @SameronShowsInc your just trying to get thumbs upv:(

  • @Benjiforest5 dude, i said that a year ago. calm down. but i still think she’s a phenomenal pianist.

  • @SameronShowsInc yeah. shes pretty darn good

  • i feel like a failure

  • o.O i can play this fast, but i would miss all the notes

    freaky

  • @kawii20 its a grade 8 piece

im used it for grade 7 exam, and using it for grade 8 exam

  • HOLY SHIT

  • it's not difficult at all. you dont have to crick your fingers or something like that.

  • she is not that good, i know younger kids that are better

  • @crustylion123 Okay, but are YOU better than her? Don't bash people because they're not supermen, this is Youtube.

  • wowwww im doing that for grade 5

  • she is playing a grade 8 piece? is she home schooled?

  • How old is she?

  • Too much fast

  • Too fast

  • I've just started to learn this piece and I thought I was doing quite well until I saw this... She's annoyingly incredible

  • There goes my self confidence when I try to play this song

  • I'm learning this song now, but I'm a teen, and I play half this fast. Child Prodigy. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • Hehe just to tell you guys, this piece is only grade 5, but she did play it sooo well at that age though. =D gratz

  • This girl must've been a wiz at Treasure Mountain.

  • @TerryMasters247 8 months later, but wow I LOVED treasure mountain, and this song in it :D

  • Comment removed

  • I wish these kind of videos would get much more views like other today's pop or big music stars clips !

  • 早熟でおわらないように、がんばれよ!

  • men, if i had such piano skills...

  • O. MY. GOD.

  • she needs to watch more tv haha she's really good

  • haha woooww. i can play this song too, buut... i'm 13.... now i feel like i'm bad at pianoo, hhaha. she is AMAZING.

  • @TheMusicObsession14 Lol shut the fuck up.

  • wwooohh!!!! amazing!!! no comment

  • @napzky21 Well that's an oxymoron.

  • This is VERY good for someone of that age.. if you were about 5 years older it wouldn't be so impressive with the many finger slips , but this is really good for someone as young as you

  • im jealous!

  • And I feel happy being 21 and playing this song!

What would she play at 21???

  • very nice !!! clean and perfectly played !! unlike most idiots on youtube

  • I have 7 years of experience, but I am still learning it

  • definately a better piano player than me! lol, i think it's soo cute that she needs the pedals to be raised up.

  • She is a great player. Amazing for her age. However, and don't hate, she didn't do the right dynamics.

  • @bumfuzzle2010 she only interpreted it her own way.

  • @bumfuzzle2010 very true but still, she is amazing lol

  • I hope she comes to my city to play....

  • watch mine. i promise its better :)

  • wooooooow!!!

  • This was not sped up. She played it very well at the tempo it is supposed to be played at.

  • I don't understand anyone saying the vid was accelerated. Her body motions would appear odd and awkward if that were true. Come on people, just enjoy the brilliant talent of this girl! :)

  • Would all the haters please just shut up. She's six years old for heavens sake. She barely out of the womb ! Fantastic ! How can you not love her ?

  • @ncpacemaker I agree.

  • @w13b3 I can tell you Emily is not forced to play the piano, if anything she is forced to get up from it plus I did not accelerate the video this was just the way she played it when I taped it

  • @w13b3 OH NO!!...why would parents force their kids to do something worthwhile?? :'(....All kids should be able to do anything they want and do things half assed and stop whenever they're bored....cause that's how you succeed in life!

  • @w13b3 what you meant to say was thumbs *down* if you think she is forced to play the piano.

  • @w13b3 yup! she is... its so sad...

  • i love her little bench(: haha. you know, how it has to be raised up so she can see the keys on the piano(: so cute(:

  • You're very good!! I play it now and you are good!!! :)

  • You accelerate the video, you broke all the magic :(

  • I honestly think this is quite a bit too fast for the piece I can't seem to hear the clarity of the notes all that well, not a great performance in my opinion

  • @yurtzenika

The clarity is affected by the recording, not by Emliy's talent. If you want to hear the same, but yet a more clear recording cut & paste this after "/watch?" after the youtube address in your address bar:

    "v=ZC24Z2kshrU&feature=related"

  • @yurtzenika

If you think this recording is lacking in clarity it is only due to the recording itself, and not to Emily's rendition of this classic. If you want a more clear recording of the same composition for comparison, then paste the following into your youtube address above directly behind "/watch?"

    "v=ZC24Z2kshrU&feature=related"

    -and you will SEE.

    Enjoy mate, cheers.

  • i hate her sissi dress! seems like everything has been done to show her as the cute and little girl with the great talent..

  • IDK how asians are amamzing. But I play the piano, sing, paint, used to rides both English & Western. I heard lots tell me that I was lucky to me asian as I'm 1/2 Filipino, cherikee, scottish irish, dutch, white, and sue indian. My singing talent come from the scottish irish side and I'm the best singer in the family. I'm the only one who plays an instrument. Me & my older sis paint. And I did 2yrs of equestrian. IDK with other people, but I don't really care about different race...

  • i love her

  • Thats the real tempo!?!?! O_o

  • wooow....amazing...she is a beast..... never had a chance to learn since i was younger but now i am 16 and trying to learn how to play on the piano... it works pretty good but i'll never be like her...

  • i like how she needs a booster chair x)

shes out of this world. is there a better for that?

  • when im about to fall asleep i can think of the most epic orchistral songs but then i wake up and forget them. GAHH

  • really amazing girl

  • And I thought I was playing it fast..

  • lol dang i can play this song but only about 100 equals the quarted this is probably 140 equals the quarter or some where in the area. great piece

  • amazing man!

  • wow.

  • Percussion rapage

  • wow! i can't play this that fast but i can play it really well. how old is this girl?

  • i used to play that. i had no clue you were supposed to play that this fast! :)

  • I cant read music... I wish i could but I cant so I never have music infront of me... how old is emily in this?

  • Wow that is AWESOME!!! love the flow.

  • Amazing talent, but played too fast.

  • @thegrossmeyer: I can't believe people rated this as a poor comment.

It was way too fast and she is an amazing talent.

  • geez here i am being so happy i could play this and then i come on utube and see all these people that are like 6 years younger then me and playin better!

    geez emily ur amazing lol

  • I like the segolene royal's hair

  • vampiracy has a point. Even I can play pieces without music sheets in front of me, 'cause that's how I really play. Maybe Emily and I have the same pratice style--memorizing the notes and keys on the piano.

But, with a little girl playing that kind of piece, I'm really sure that God didn't create us equally.

  • amazinG!!!!!

  • How is that possible? Are we all truly created equal?

  • @Worldofwheelz seriusly... if you start to play piano or another instrument when you are very young (like 3 years or less) you probably play like these little girl... but you need the conviction to practice a lot :P

  • @Worldofwheelz Of course not. We are all unique, all with our own advantages and disadvantages. We are only equal in our basic human rights, which is why those rights are so incredibly important. (And... what an incredible kid!)

  • I'm always amazed by Emily's playing. NO SHEET MUSIC IN FRONT OF HER!!!!! Absolutely astonishing.

  • @BeautifulMusic1000

No music isn't a big deal. When I was her age I could memorize any song in minutes. It's playing it with such small hands that's really impressive.

  • ;) indeed @vampiracy when you are young you have GREAT memory! Yup to be able to play something like that with small hands is really impressive. I'm not so sure if I could be able to play that though. ;)

  • I hav always thot that everything is a matter of pure hard work and perseverance.

Watching this makes me realize there is indeed such a thing as natural gift. Amazing!

  • she is absolutly gifted GO EMILY!!!

  • I'm almost ten years older I could not pull that off lol

  • I'm well over 50 and I couldn't pull that off either! LOL!

  • It's really amazing to see such honorable kid achieving such great job!

  • She plays many pieces very beautiful, but this is not one of her best performaces. Her fingers are not getting off the keys fast enough between each note os it sounds muffled and quite sloppy. Good luck to her from one composer to another.

  • i think it may just be the static that the camera has, but i'm not sure, i do hear it to tho

  • I think it's because her hands are soooo little! It is still incredible and it will be when her little hands grow too :)

  • i learning the song it and it's kinda hard

  • For the record, pretissimo means, "as fast as possible."

  • ive seen a whole bunch of 5 and 6 year olds on youtube but i only see emily bear on the news i dun get it ?!?!
